Yeah, but he didn't need to play well, is my point.

I would have preferred Kroos too. Khedira wastes some passes and creates few chances. His long distance shots are a thing of horror too. Kroos' passes are spot on, creative and his long distance shots are something the Dutch oughta fear.

But Khedira delivered the cross and that's all that matters.
Jesus saves, but Kahn does it better ;)

Not when a defender's hand turns your cross from a poor shot to an awesome assist.

I would certainly play Kroos against the Danes. I would like to see Lahm playing as RB but after Boateng doing such a great job defending against Ronaldo (his tackle inside the box was the play of the game IMO) the kid deserves to keep playing. The problem is that he brings very little offensively and against teams that don't have a serious threat on the left wing I would use Lahm as RB and Schmelzer as LB. I would also like to see Klose start against Holland since he did so well last time we faced them. I would give another chance to Poldi since the dynamics of the game against the Dutch will be different (they are not gonna be able to sit back and defend) and a fast counterattacking game would suit him.

If had to make that last ditch challenge on Ronaldo as he was out of position.

Yeah, but that's his style. Remember that ridiculous tackle against Braunschweig?

I agree with Loew on the decision to keep Khedira in because if we had put in Kroos, Portugal might have adapted their tactics and they'd probably would have gotten the upper hand in the game.
