Friendly match today. Bayern and Bremen players absent though, so Loew will have a chance to experiment with new players.

Malta had 2 good chances to score. That's already a lot :!:

1-0 at halftime. Not a bad display so far, but finishing needs to be improved (should be 3-0). The most dangerous player so far is Kroos. Troche is also playing well. I don't like Tasci very much...

The "R" on the shirt looks like "A".
Instead of Kroos it was " Kaoos" lol

Wierd, I think Germany is playing a 4-1-4-1:

Neuer

Beck, Friedrich, Hummels, Aogo

Khedira

Troche, Cacau, Podolski, Kroos

Kiesling

Boy, how many chances can Kiessling miss in 30 seconds?

This kid Grosskreutz seems good. Anyone seen him play?

From What I Saw , Malta are technically not bad, and also Agile even though they lack stamina , but their Passing Accuracy is Pure Trash (No offense) , If You tell them to pass the ball to Mount Everest while standing next to it , They will Fail to achieve that

Podolski,Grosskreutz and cacau were Great

Kiessling worked hard but with no luck (Missed 4 chances in a bit less than 30 seconds!!!!!!)

walter wrote:Boy, how many chances can Kiessling miss in 30 seconds?

4 chances and i Went like LMAO, even the German commentator could not believe it ,

walter wrote:This kid Grosskreutz seems good. Anyone seen him play?

Yes , He came in for the first time in his Life for the German NT , He Got the ball ,1 touch , 2nd touch , 3rd Touch , Then A Pass That I cant even do on A Video game , Then podolski to cacau and goal

Guys , you must see that goal, Total class From Grosskreutz

I know him from Dortmund , in Dortmund he is A Hard Worker , A Real Hard worker , but i did not know that he is technically Gifted , Loew Said taht he is good , and that he might join the NT on later occasions

He was also involved with the third goal with a nice run a pass to Podolski.

saw that too

You should have put the Youtube link that is in this Website (The highlighs are from youtube)

i liked how the english commentator pronounced Kroos's Name

He said it like the Word "Cruz " while it is more like "cross" But with a longer O

ADD : I watched the Game on German channel ZDF

And also the GK of Malta is not bad , despite being short

i also found out that The CB who scored the own goal is a Bench CB , The Main CB was the Captain but the Coach removed the Captaincy from him so this CB Dyed his Head IN RED color to show that he did not like that decision

so the Coach banned him

I only watched the first half. What I saw, was a below par DFB-team. But that’s nothing to be surprised or too worried about, considering that they never played in that constellation before, had the Werder and Bayern players missing and only had the opportunity to train together for a couple of days. I liked the offensive-minded line-up Jogi put on the field, with Khedira as the only defensive-midfielder. In order to be more flexible in their offensive play and always leave themselves with 2 options to pass the ball to, they constantly tried to form triangles on each flank of the pitch. On the left it was Aogo, Kroos and Podolski, on the right it was Beck, Trochowski and Cacau. I liked the idea, what they have to work on is the implementation. Cacau played really well, covered a lot of the pitch and had some very good moves. I think he might be starting to take over Kiessling and Gomez in the pecking order of the strikers. Podolski and Klose are pretty much "untouchable" in Low’s book, and I think Cacau might be developing to become the next alternative right behind them. However, it's still early to say, a friendly like this against Malta isn't gonna give you a completely fair display of how things are truly standing.

I have brought up this point before, and I’ll bring it up again: What I personally don’t get, is why an average center-back like Tasci gets to always play in Low’s team, while Hummels is only nominated as a "filler", to be there as long as the Werder and Bayern players are absent. Tasci doesn’t have much to bring to the table, except for his good build-up play and his ability to open up play well, whereas Hummels has had the strongest season out of all German center-backs. If I’d be Mats, I’d feel like I’ve been taken for a fool for quite some time now. Yet, the decision is up to Low, if he thinks that’s what’s best for the team, that’s how it’s gonna be.

My pick of the 4 players to be withdrawn from the squad: Tasci, Beck, Trochowski and Aogo/Jansen, leaning towards Jansen to stay in the squad.
