Not really. I hope Germany does both, but form can change in the blink of an eye. Plus, just because A can beat B and B can beat C, it doesn't mean A can beat C.

I'm happy Germany are facing Italy now when they are gaining momentum, but that doesn't mean they're a gimme to beat France or Portugal/Belgium. They looked particularly flat against Spain in the Euro '08 Final. Same thing can happen here.

This won't be an easy game at all... they always have 5 defenders at the back... they'll try to counter, hope our defenders won't get caught off guard. Conte is the best manager in this tournament...

the df has to be always on its toes and never caught very high... cause it will be punished, anyways I don't have high hopes. In 2012 I did but now I don't

After Z beat F yesterday, the only thing I'm sure of is the entire alphabet can beat them, England.

Awesome game on Saturday.

I don't remember it but I've seen films of it... they were on drugs and there are proofs of it.

I'd never heard that, and I can't find anything online (in English). Can you cite any sources?

There is a lot of suspicion that they bribed the ref for the WC'70 semi-final, but I'd never heard of doping in '82.

Italy bought the game against Cameroon in 1982 that made them advance [source]

And if Italians try to play the Nazi card you can use this:

Italy Stands Up for Fascism (1938) France v Italy

In the final World Cup before World War II, Italy (who were the defending World Cup Champions) were in the middle of their run towards a second World Cup title when controversy struck.

It was in the quarterfinal match against France in France, where many former Italians and Frenchmen who hated Fascist Italy were ready to jeer them. But due to the fact that France also wore a blue kit, Italy were forced to wear their white alternate kit.

But on Mussolini's orders, the team took to the field in black shirts, (the Maglia Nera), a symbol of the feared and despised Italian fascist paramilitary. And the Italians did their fascist salute before beating France on their way as they held the World Cup for the next 12 years.

I've found that on cemeroon too ... but not the doping one...
Ger v Aus also from 1982 was not something nice either.

That's nothing: Mussolini fixed an entire home world cup. They should be ashamed to say they have 4 titles.

Seems as though Low will change the lineup before an Italy match AGAIN, but this time for the better. Looks like hes moving back to a 4-3-3 with Khedira, Kroos, Schweinsteiger and dropping Ozil. It will be difficult to break them through the middle, so its not a bad idea to control midfield and attack through the flanks.

Not sure what I think about that. Will be harder to break down the defence without Ozil.
