OH God I felt as if Joshua was my son... what a man well done.
I feared Boa I thought this was not his night... after he was made to raise his arms (very naively) after Chiellini elbowed him I thought that he can't handle it.

Now they will say that Germany did not beat them it was only thanks to the penalties

I'm already reading comments saying that even if they lost, Italy are still the best of the tournament... :coffee:

Thanked by mistake but I don't see how they can in any way be considered better than Germany throughout the tournament. They were made to look like amateurs today especially up front. Germany were scared and were being overly cautious. With that kind of performance they could have won in ordinary time.

Neuer didn't have any important save to make, which shows you that Italy didn't deserve to win.

If only you saw the tears in my eyes while watching the penalty shootouts. What an intense shootout that was! I watched it while most of my face covered as if I don't want to see but you know I can't resist but to look lol

I was 100% sure Muller will miss it. The moment Bastian didn't score his, I was sure we were done for...BUT GOD DAMN IT WE BEAT THEM
WE **** BEAT THEM!

The only player from this Italian team deserves some respect for his sportsmanship and what he has accomplished is Buffon. the rest were bunch of dirty player, diver and cry babies.

I wouldn't mind experiencing something like that again. That was amongst the most phenomenal feelings I've had, not just in football but in my life.

Wow! Hard to describe the feelings! What a crazy game! I'm one of the few here how has felt the pain of losing to Italy so many times. First time for me was 1982 WC final. Finally we spanked that monkey off our back. Wish we had won in regular time because the penalty shootout was the most nerve racking football experience I've had while watching a game. The beauty of it was seing the two Italian players with the stupid antics miss their penalties.

Finally, never in my wildest dream would I have thought that we were going to find a competent replacement for Lahm so quickly! Kimmich is my hero of the tournament.

I don't want Kimmich in starting eleven vs France/Iceland Iceland would be my preferred team. Mesul Ozil was horrible last night scored the goal missed penatly muller is a flop just not able to find back of the net he looks some unknown guy without gomez. Germany have to score goals I want podolski or any other striker in first team but not Kimmich. The match should have ended in normal time .What was Jerome Boateng doing with his hands up stupid mistake thankfully he didn't miss in penalty shootout.
Tony Kroos damn it does he know how to take set pieces his corners were not passed Italy's first line of defense I mean even in whole match 2 kroos deliveries were horrible . It was far from a classic match and penalties even were more farcical. Hummels is now suspended for semi final huge loss germany defense will be tested .
I don't mind Low keep Muller on the bench struggling big time Mesut Ozil is highly inconsistent.
It is surprising to me Germany is struggling in front of goal they cant score goals against big team Ireland 1-0 Poland 0-0 and except the 3-0 thumping against a weak slovakia. There is room of plenty of improvement Neur was great .

My big worry how Germany can cope with France who I believe dynamic ,attacking and have the big french home support. It won't be easy match anyway.
