“Regardless of this game I think we have consolidated our play. We’re well-rehearsed, the philosophy fits. So in the game against France there will be situations where we’ll try one or two things,” Loew said. “We’ll probably make a few changes. It’s important generally for us to meet again, for us to be together for two or three days. We can address some things regarding the European Championships and tell the players what we expect of them in the coming months.”

“That match will help us assess our value against a team which is one of the best two in the world with Spain,” France coach Laurent Blanc said. “We are not at the level of Germany yet. But we’ll go to Germany with ambitions.”

Of course it is ;)

Here's what Loew means: I have a lot of injuries and won't be able to play my best team, also I want to experiment a bit. I don't think we can expect the best performance. We might actually not win.

It seems that Höwedes will be assigned the task to mark Ribery. Personally, I'd have preferred Boateng there since he would be able to cope better with Ribery's speed down the flank. However, it's Höwedes' birthday today and that may have had a say in it

Hope you have a happy 24th birthday Höwedes!

So once again Ribery vs Hoewedes? It is a hell of a week for Hoewedes :P . He will start seeing nightmares with Ribery ...
Also Kroos in Schweini's place as CM. I hope Jupp is taking notes.

BTW I hate that Wiese is the GK. Thank God we have Neuer for official matches, or we are doomed.

Yeah. Hopefully he doesn't kung-fu Ribery this time.

Also, interestingly our rumoured transfer target Giroud is expected to be the lone starting striker.

Ribery vs Hans Sarpei on Twitter:

Ribery: Tomorrow some magic against Allemange... Sorry ;-)
Sarpei: @RiberyFranck Germany will win. ;)
Ribery: Of course I will try to do it against Leverkusen and Basel too... @HansSarpei FC Bayern - Schalke how much? ;-)
Sarpei: @RiberyFranck I only remember last year in the DFB Pokal... But I hope we can see you in your new underwear tomorrow ;) http://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/natio ... .bild.html
Ribery: Ohh @HansSarpei ... how's about a bet? When I'm gonna win with France, I will see a picture with you in a Bayernshirt ;-)

So far, Sarpei has not replied :) Even though he twitted some more...

Would like Müller over Schürrle. Has Schürrle even done anything this season? Been completely invisible in every Leverkusen game I've seen.
The ideal team

-Müller--Müller--Müller--Müller--
-------Müller---------Müller-------
----Müller----Müller----Müller----
