Probably Loew will play a lot of Dortmund players, because it's a friendly

Hehe, Dortmund players are only good for friendlies. When it matters, he trusts only Bayern players :P

Despite their current form, Leverkusen won't be an easy game away 2 ~ 3 days afterwards either.

I don't remember a single time that our team has came back from international break in a better form than it was before that....
How is this break good for us when all our main players go to their NT and most of them play the whole 90min and some of them might get back injured??? !!!

Well usually we're finally on a good streak and then we play some dumb NT match.
Now it might be good for the team to get their heads on something else.

I'm just trying to find reasons why it might be good, I actually doubt it will be :P

Exactly. And the NT might get the German players back in a winning mood, although that's bad for Ribery

Considering how many Bayern players are on the German NT, they could use a good showing in the upcoming friendly against France. Let's hope they win that match and bring success back with them to Munchen.

On the other hand, considering the single Bayern player on the French team and his performance today I think we might as well loose that match...

He's had considerably better average performances for Bayern than for France too, so it's not a surprise.

I read that after Lahm pulled out of the squad, Sven Bender was also left out due to a facial injury.

Ribery should tear Träsch to shreds. Hell, I could probably destroy Träsch on the flank.

I would really like for Löw to start Gomez in this friendly. That poor soul needs some confidence, perhaps he'll catch some by scoring in the national team.

What I would have loved to see is the Sven Bender - Schweinsteiger combination, needless to say that wont happen this time.
I'll paint any car for 3.95.

Probably because he hates playing on the right and, oh yeah, half the nation is still pissed about a little thing that happened a year and a half ago.

Wiese will play in goal according to Hansi Flick (the assistant manager).

Also Klose will be the captain, and the central defence should be formed up with Badstuber and Hummels.

Re: [2012-02-29] Germany vs France

Joachim Loew says the result against France is not important:

“Regardless of this game I think we have consolidated our play. We’re well-rehearsed, the philosophy fits. So in the game against France there will be situations where we’ll try one or two things,” Loew said. “We’ll probably make a few changes. It’s important generally for us to meet again, for us to be together for two or three days. We can address some things regarding the European Championships and tell the players what we expect of them in the coming months.”

“That match will help us assess our value against a team which is one of the best two in the world with Spain,” France coach Laurent Blanc said. “We are not at the level of Germany yet. But we’ll go to Germany with ambitions.”
