Why Klose had a great game for Lazio, does he have some type of injury?

I don't think so. It's just what I grasped from that article you linked.

IMO Klose is a better option than Gomez(and i love Gomez) because conects with the midfield better along with the poaching instincts of a Gomez....man i wish he was at Bayern again

Lol I don't. We have his non-flop clone in Mandzukic, Klose can dick around in Italy all he wants for all I care.

I think it's also time to try out different striking options. That's the biggest area of concern for the NT, along with LB, especially when Gomez is misfiring. Klose's career is at its latter stages and there is some chance that he might actually not make it till 2014. So, it would be better for Low to start experimenting Reus, Schurrle, or whoever at the striker's position. And if Low ever metions Cacau again, then.... (I don't want to get banned for profanity now that MUTU is back :P)

I will f*ck shit up on Low's face. Schmelzer is just too mediocre to play for the German NT. But I suppose he does need experience.

Hansi Flick said that the following players will start

Neuer
Lahm
Schmelzer
Khedira
Mueller
Oezil
Reus
Klose

He did not name the 2 CBs and the 2nd CDM

Or Goetze for a 4-1-4-1.

I doubt Khedira is capable of playing as a lone CDM in front of our backline. I think that experiment already failed for Germany. In any case, if they are gonna play 4-1-4-1 I still see Khedira and Bender in the starting lineup (Khedira next to Ozil).

I'd say Bender is pretty much a lock for the second pivot. I don't think Löw is fielding anything but a 4-2-3-1, so i guess we'll have Badstuber-Hummels at CB and Bender-Khedira in the double pivot. Up front Reus-Özil-Müller (all of which pretty much switching positions at will, just like we do at Bayern right now) and obviously Klose as striker.

We'll win 4 : 0 by the way.

I just hope that Löw doesn't decide to make this generation obsolescent by introducing the next batch of German talent. This team has the hunger gained from previous failings, and should be kept together to build chemistry and spirit. Holtby and Ter Stegen and co. are great, but let them develop as much as possible with the younger teams. Let this Germany team reach it's peak.
I also feel that Schmelzer should be given a chance, he's the most proven LB in Germany bar Lahm and he has kept Robben quiet on many occassions, give the lad a chance!
