Maybe the defender pushed him earlier, otherwise there was no contact before he felt.

The end. 1 - 2.

Today Germany NT reminded me of this year FCB - shaky defense, weak midfield, too many wrong passes and too few shots. Even Klose missed an easy chance...

At least Schürrle showed that he should get more chances.

Germany always suck in friendlies, but todays match was just too much sucking. Stupid lineup by Löw IMO The players played with zero motivation too

Germany always draws or loses in friendlies. It doesn't really matter who is playing. I'd like to see a stat of Germany's friendlies in the last 3 years

And todays lineup was a big fail

Since Low took over in 2006 , NT team played 25 friendly games - lose 5 of them and win 13.

So that's a bit more than 50% wins in friendlies

BTW Wiese always plays awful with the NT. He shouldn't be our 3rd GK

Not enough for a national team of big stature. The players need to be more motivated in order to achieve better results.

You can see in friendlies that the players dotn give their all

they try to rest from matches they played before with NT and clubs , and to be fit for their club next week

besides , in Friendlies we dont play our best 11 and loew likes to give players a chance

but in big competitions , you see the real German face
(ask Maradona about it in world cup , he was happy with his 0-1 win , but in world cup he saw a totally different team , he and his player could not keep up , and i bet that he has that match on TAPE , and watched it for 3 months to see how on gods earth were the germans moving and that they were really 11 not 21 !!)

In fact, it's not the first time that Germany are not considered as one of the favourites (although still considered a top team) but once the tournament actually starts they impress everyone. Like the last WC, for example. Even in 2006, despite being the home team, people weren't very impressed with Germany before the WC started.
