There is no “i” in Deutsche Fussballmannschaft, but there is a “me” in Messi.

Beautifully put.

What is the deal with Hummels injury? Why is everyone not speaking about it. Any news? if he is not fit we are screwed.

Don't worry. We have Mertesacker.

I hope you are kidding. Whenever he plays we concede, that's for sure, and we look awful in the defence. I hope Hummels comes back. Mertesacker is very very slow and does not offer stability against Argentinian attack.

I'm serious, if 'the best team' doesn't lift the trophy one more time, I won't think that football is the best sport anymore, I'll quit and start to drink and gamble.

Hummels will be ok. No way tendonitis keeps him out of the final.

How about Di Maria? Are they going to force him like Costa was?

I think they'll need Klose in this match, Schurrle coming in second half. I expect a convincing win from Germany or the worst scenario to football a Chelsea-like champion Argentina, Messi winning it in Chelsea-style, can you imagine that? No, just NO!

I don't known man but I like how on Wednesday the Argentina camp's stance was that he was going to be fit for Sunday (stated as fact)... like dude, if the guy isn't fit on Wednesday you can't KNOW he'll be ready in 4 days, that's just dumb that's not how muscle injuries work #-o

Let them try and stifle us. If anybody should have learned how to deal with that anti-football by now, it is us, and there should be no reason to fear Argentina adopting that approach. All we need to do is find that first goal, then we shall see who truly plays the game better. It's high time for the players who actually came to play football to win their due.

If the first goal for Germany comes from a set piece again wow Löw should tell Pep what he did. We need that kind of edge.

We do really need to turn that around. Tired of that killing us.

Hummels, Klose, and Howedes had a hand in all of the set piece goals except for one (first vs Brazil) if I remember correctly. So it would start with recruiting those fellas I guess 8)
