Germany without Bayern players (min. 4 on pitch together) is like car without engine. Deal with it 8)

Predictable result. Very few normal starters in this squad & aside from a few, they didn't seem all that hungry. The game could've ended differently though if Gomez wasn't totally awful today. Argentina had a score to settle & good for them for doing so if it helps mend their world cup final wound. Durm was very bad & was leaving huge gaps for Di Maria, Ginter was no better.

Kroos had his usual little passes going but seemed to forget to defend but thankfully, Kramer was there & did a pretty decent job compared to the rest of the squad. Kramer was my definitive motm for Germany. Muller looked like he did vs Schalke, he needs a rest it seems. It's not big deal, a few players were not in form & the defense was nothing close to what it is usually & Gomez missed tons of chances. All of that is nothing that they can't fix.

Nahh, he seemed better than he is because Germany had no defense. Ginter was awful and Höwedes bad. With a Hummels-Boa central defense, he wouldn't have seemed as good as he seemed. He spent the whole world cup failing to dribble past opposition defenses.

Rüdiger was very good, though. Draxler also seemed like the best Germany player on his 20 minutes, let's see what he does this season.

On another note, wonder why Löw didn't call Rode or Can...?

When did we ever not lose to Argentina in a friendly game? Germany will be another team completely in the qualifiers, a game that actually does matter.

Germany won the 2 that mattered the most.. WC final 1990 and 2014 ( and lost one to them in 1986? )

Yes, the only time Germany ever lost to Argentina in a competitive match was the World Cup final of 1986, but Germany exacted revenge just one tournament edition later.

I would say it bodes well for the Scotland game, but with the amount if regulars missing, I'm bit expecting much!!

Scotland shouldnt be a big problem, if they just focus on the match. But i assume they will, this is a match that matters. After they have to face Poland and Ireland..

What I take from this game is that we have a striker crisis..
