Should be an easy one for Germany. Algeria has nothing to lose and that makes them dangerous, but still the gap in quality is huge. I predict a routine victory.

The highest temperature tomorrow will be 29C but the match will be played at 5pm Brazil time so it will probably be around 25-26C. Having said that, I don't think Algerians will get an advantage from the temperature seeing as 16 of them are French as such.

Don't feel confident about this but then I never do. Algeria will set up to counteract Jogi's brand of Teutonic tiki taka. The question is do they have the players to hurt the slow Germany defence on the break. Someone reassure me please that Germany are going to comfortably see them off [-o<

This match will be played in Porto Alegre, the capital of the state I used to live in Brazil.

Now it is coldest part of the year there. I expect temperatures around 10-15 degrees.

I wouldn't say Algeria is easy but if you are scared of Algeria then forget about watching the world cup because there are better teams than Algeria. We can go all the way to the semi-finals without playing a south-american team at all so be thankful of our schedule not cowardly. We would probably play France next and all of Algeria's players, for the most part anyways, are simply guys who could not make the French squad. And it is kind of misleading to state the Algerian players are "born" in France. I doubt a single one of them was born in France and then decided to go live in Algeria. They are born, raised and live in France. They probably need to take malaria pills just to go to Algeria if they have ever even been there. The word traitors might be too strong but if they love Algeria so much...?
Gee, I will bet all the French-Arabs playing for Algeria all of a sudden sing the anthem when they represent their "real" country.

But it is still June... :s

I guess that whole global warming crap is true then.

Edit:
Google says the temperature tomorrow will be 5-13° [source]

I fully expect Germany to make it hard for themselves. :D I hope they don't underestimate the Algerians, this is a potential banana skin for the Germans in my opinion. Algeria have got nothing to lose from this and are going to play without any pressure. Should Germany lose, a whole nation would go bonkers.

Don't get me wrong though, I expect Germany to win, but it won't come easy.

Ricci (Brazilian) to be the referee for this one... If I am not mistaken he has already officiated Germany... was it against Ghana? Nice move to have a Brazilian referee one of the main contenders of your own country... [-X

So in other words, the only French footballer who didn't get to go to the WC is Nasri?

He did alright in the Ghana game. But yes, why is that even allowed? Refs at this point should be from eliminated countries. Or is there a fear they'll have a grudge. Not that it matters, the refereeing so far is crap throughout this WC.

I hate Spanish referees, especially Undiano Mallenco for giving a red card to Klose back in 2010, persona non grata. Red card for Klose, really? =D> Ricci, you better be good...

And now they're saying the temperature is 14°C from their reading at 4am Brazil time, even though it's raining. So they're already wrong in their prediction :)

Edit: Accuweather predicts rain during the match and temperatures of 13°C for the first half and 12°C for the second half (and possible extra time/penalties).
