Are we sure Mustafi is playing at RB?

When Reus got injured I never even considered that the worst part would be something other than not having Reus there. Now it has spiralled in to some crazy nightmare that won't end. Mustafi is not even that young. He is older than Goetze for christs sake. It is not like he is some huge prospect that we need to develop. Obviously he has impressed spectacularly in training. How else can Loew have changed his mind so much from cutting him to him being ahead of Groskreutz, Ginter, Durm, Kramer and apparently at times Schweinsteiger. Has he trained that well? Wouldn't the game against Ghana at least detract a little bit from how much he impressed in training? Well, we know what Algeria's gameplan will be at least...attack Mustafi. It's like coach knows Schweinsteiger is better than Khedira but isn't allowed to start him unless he can find an excuse to get a 3rd starter in who won't sing the anthem.
If this goes to a shootout Mustafi probably our first shooter.

I don't understand if Mustafi is good to play ahead of Grosskreutz why he was excluded from the team at first. :?

I guess Mustafi has a very big Mus... that is why he prefers him...

As well as Grosskreutz being a far better player than Mustafi, he'd also add a bit of steel and a 'won't take no shit' attitude which will be needed against this team

I think Jogi is obsessed with playing with 4 CB. Maybe he thinks after the world cup putting 4 CB in the line up will be a new trend.

IMO not only Mustafi will suffer against the far more strong Algerian players but also Gotze & Ozil... I would have preferred Grosskreutz(RB), Schurrle(LF) and Klose(CF) ... with Muller as RF

What does JLo have to do to get fired? I'm tired of this shit.

Look how low we've come, preferring Grosskreutz over any of the choices. :|

Perversely, most of the objections probably relate to the 4 non-Bayern players.

FFS with that CB transformation to LB/RB for Low,besides that Mustafi and Howedes are not so agile, well this game is against a weak opponent such as Algeria but I don't see Jogi Low dropping that "idea" , it's really annoying.

That's all the Bayern players in the squad, actually.
