Mutu: something is wrong in your weather gadget, Porto Alegre is almost in the boarder with Uruguay, there is no way that they can have over 25c in the middle of the winter. it has to be under 20c.

Yes there can be.

There are two parts of Porto Alegre apparently.

Here it says highest today is 29C: http://www.accuweather.com/en/br/porto- ... cast/44697
Here it says highest today is 14C: http://www.accuweather.com/en/br/porto- ... cast/45561

EDIT: I managed to trick Accuweather into showing me the weather for the other Porto Alegre in Brazil that it has in its database. The weather's more realistic now :)

I am starting to feel butterflies for this match... I am sensing a very tough match similar to the one vs Greece in the last Euros :?
And... they a have a psychological advantage - two games vs Germany(West) and both won... + the fact they have 0% pressure.

And DFB apparently told JLO that his job is safe even if we lose. What a pile of crap.

arguably algeria is the opponent we would have chosen if given a choice....why are we going with such a negative mindset!

okay!we have lost last 2 times against them...but we all know germany is stronger so law of averages WILL catch up!algeria don't have a home or weather advantage or anything like that!what could be easier in a round of 16 match in the WORLD CUP?
didn't belgium beat them?didn't russia hold them off?(russia could have won had akinfeev not committed a howler)
So why can't we beat them?

I have had a terrible day so far, so Germany will thrash Algeria to even things out. ;)

Forget the Algeria match... but if Germany doesn't reach at least the S/F J.L should resign... and either Jupp Heynckes or Ottmar Hitzfeld will become the new coach.

Aren't both retired/retiring?

I think so but since it does not involve that pressure as club football they might accept... who knows. Hopefully it won't be the case.

Not sure I get your comment. It sounds like you are saying that his job should be safe because there is no one to replace him. I assume you must mean something else though.
