KHR is doing the right thing. We need big personalities downplaying our chances so that it can cause a reverse positive impact on our players.

I'm tired of pretending to be the underdogs. Germany has a team that will challenge for the title and should acknowledge it. There's a pretty bad inferiority complex when it comes to German football over the last ten years.

This. Players shit their pants in the big games. There is too much respect for the opponents.

The WC hasn't been held in South America since 1978 though. Argentina are too unbalanced. Brazil are good aand they have home advantage but like in 2010 they have a silly coach who doesn't realise he can call up a much better team.

They definitely weren't underdogs this past EURO, and our players' statements reflected that properly before and during the tournament.

From the other hand we all remember what happened to us when we weren't underdogs: vs Spain in WC 2010 and vs Italy in Euro 2012.
Especially vs Italy, betting sites had us as clear favorites (5).

Anyway, I do think KHR took the right decision. We don't want to make them clear favourites 2 years early after this year's failure. The important thing is that such comments aren't made as we get closer to 2014.

Even Casillas just said that you can't rule out Spain not qualifying for the tournament.

Indeed, nothing can be ruled out in football, ever. NOTHING.

That's the problem - the team needs to be favorites since the start, since 2 years before the tournament, not after a successful group stage.

lol.com, the worst of the worst when it comes to football news copying from Gala. Just awesome.

Gala is a German magazine who's main themes are celebrities and their relationships, models and their weight problems as well as aging stars and their alcohol problems.

Here are the questions they asked Klopp (in the order in which they were published):
Herr Klopp, you are Cult. [he is?] Do you enjoy that, or do you sometimes also feel it's a burden?

And what does your spouse Ulla like? Cleanly shaved or scratchy?
[Yeah, I always wondered that as well.]

Right now you're the most successful coach in the Bundesliga. How much does your wife contribute to that?
[Gee, and here I thought they might actually be interested in football a little bit. Butnaaaa...]

How do you know when you're not only a good couple but also a good team?
[But hey, we use the word "Team" after asking the same question for the fourth time. That's a sports term, no?]

Among other places you were in Sylt where you established a safe haven for yourself. What do you like about the island?
[Probably the fact that only filthy rich people like me go and live there so the plebs leave me alone for once.]

Your wife didn't care two figs about football when you got to know each other. Did she have a hard time to embark on this world?
[She probably liked the money and the house in Sylt.... Oh, and the scratchy face of course.]

In April when you had won the deciding match with Dortmund against Mönchengladbach for the Meisterschaft, you hugged and kissed your wife on the pitch. Can this become a problem when you, being the boss of the bunch, show such feelings publicly?
[Jesus Christ, STFU!]

The fans love your emotional bursts on the edge of the pitch? How could one compare the feeling when your team wins, what flashes through your mind then?
[Jerking off to internet midget-porn?]

How long can you go without football during a vacation?
[Probably for as long as the Hors d'œuvre of salmond and Caviar last in my "Safe Haven" in Sylt. They tend to last a long while, though, usually.]

The pressure to succeed that weighs on a Bundesliga coach is not half bad. What's your health program against stress?
[Jacking off to internet midget-porn in my Safe Haven in Sylt]

How did you view the, partly severe, criticism that was offered to Bundestrainer Joachim Löw after going out of the EURO in the semifinal?
[I don't care, but I remember how I kept asking myself how Löw's wife was feeling about it.]

Are you able to "Bundestrainer", too?
[Are you able to German, too?]

Would the job tempt you?
[And here we go, folks. The very last question of this interview is what the abomination that is LOL.com used to make a headline]
"There are two things I am afraid of: War and Oliver Kahn."
