Reus as a striker, simple enough. I can't recall a lot of goals from crosses over the last few years anyway, so who cares if the CF is good in the air or not.
The ideal team

--------Müller with gloves--------
-Müller--Müller--Müller--Müller--
-------Müller---------Müller-------
----Müller----Müller----Müller----
---------------Müller---------------

Actually with the high quality and quantity of great German young AM, we could easily try a 4-6-0 with 4 AMs, 1 CDM and 1 CM with either of 4 going forward, depending on the attack ...

Really, with the quality this squad is having, the only thing still missing is some trophies. Hopefully starting from the 1st of July this will change.

While there is an embarrassment of riches in terms of attacking power, which will undoubtedly leave some world class players on the bench, the defence is nothing to write home about. Other than Neuer and Lahm, none of the defensive players look like legends-in-the-making if you ask me...

I'm sure all of you here have heard the old saying that goals win matches but good defences win trophies.

Nice to see Germany move ahead of the Netherlands in the FIFA World Rankings, only trailing Spain as the best in the World. I'd enjoy seeing a Germany v Spain rematch in the Euro 2012 final.

Here's the current top 15.

1 Spain
2 Germany
3 Netherlands
4 Uruguay
5 England
6 Portugal
7 Brazil
8 Italy
9 Croatia
10 Denmark
11 Argentina
12 Chile
13 Russia
14 Greece
15 Côte d'Ivoire

Yes, but gold on competitons should be something new after Euro 1996. In green kits great results were coming. :)

However, when I saw FB profile pic. from Lukas Podolski, shirt looks different as these here.

Still doesn't make it right. Germany's colors should be either black, red and gold.
