I wasn't too impressed with Sule, but then again Trapp gave me nervous breakdowns with his passing, and the Rudiger/Ginter partnership wasn't doing Sule any good. Really liked what I saw in Kimmich going forward, and wasn't too disappointed in Goretzka either (if we consider the rumours :P)

Rudy and Goretzka held a solid tempo on the game and Sülewas the best of the back 3 but that's not saying much. Süle Hummels and Boateng would be a god damned brick wall and would allow Kimmich and Hector to sit high and wide comfortably.

They had one (1!!) training session ahead of the match. What did you expect?

A win. How many training sessions did Denmark have ahead of the match? Just asking, don't know the answer.

I should have been more precise. They had one training session as a totally newly assembled team. Most of them have never played together before. Result: A lot of coordination and communication problems. How can there be automatisms, how can they know the running paths of their teammates? They can't. It takes more than one training session for that.

Denmark were playing their usual team.
