Yes, he now has 2 goals in 3 matches if I am not mistaken. Not bad, given that he never played 90 minutes...

It's about time already that Poldi gives his spot to someone else...

I still think that Podolski deserves to be a starter, but I think we (German NT) found a very good backup player for LAM/RAM...

I liked the game a lot. It was so much better than that against Austria. Sure, the second half of the second half (=)) was slower, but that's understandable. The defense got sloppy near the end, hence Azeri scored. Well-deserved, though. The team has big potentional, imho.

Kroos did a good job today, and Mesut was awesome. It seemed to me that Thomas and Lukas were a bit lost today. And I hope Mario will work on actually finishing attacks =))
Lahm was amazing in the center (too bad he didn't score). Can't wait to see him as a striker or goalkeeper

Is Badstuber trying to bring the sweeper role back to the modern game? :D

Gomez just can't stop scoring, can he? It was a very easy goal though and he missed other opportunities. This means that Klose's number 1 striker status is no longer automatic...

Gomez was good besides his final shot but i think he has a legit chance to lead the attack in euro! Also Kroos was phenomenal today hopefully a sign of things to come from him

Kroos was out of his element in the dutch-led Bayern. Under Löw, he is good. Under Heynckes, he was great. I seriously think he will be our positive revelation of the next season. His technique is absolutely incredible, and his passing is extremely accurate.

Agreed, but I think he's sometimes too slow to take a decision. That should come in time with experience.
