[2009-08-12] Azerbaijan vs Germany

Postby YlonenXabi » Mon Aug 03, 2009 1:30 am

I'm looking forward to see this match. I want to see Ballack with National Team. And let's see if Marin or Özil go with the team.

When will be the player list confirmed?

And BTW, when will be the new shirt premiered?

Thanks Mutu.
So There isn't another striker to replace Podolski?

Well i saw the game. It was the classical pre-season match. No speed, no great plays... Germany controlled the ball during the 90 min and they had some good chances. Lahm played on the right and he made a GREAT match, but Bastian played on the right too (and he scored)

The lineup was

-----------------------------------------Enke----------------------------------------------
Lahm---------------------Mertesacker----------Tasci---------------------------Schäfer
------------------------Hitzlsperger-------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------Ballack-----------------------------------
------------Schweinsteiger----------------------------------------------------Trochowski
-----------------------------------Klose-------Mario Gomez-------------------------------

Lahm was really good

Klose scored an easy goal without GK

Mario Gomez did some good things, but nothing really important. He hit the post before Klose's goal

In the second half Jansen replaced Trochowski, Cacau replaced Klose and Özil replaced Mario Gomez

Cacau sucked. He did some good moves but he missed an incredible chance with a terrible shot.

Schweinsteiger scored a great goal ( bad GK too)

Anyone knows when will be the new jersey premiered? The WM 2010 jersey
