And hopefully they can lure Gomez back in.

Yes hopefully RR stays in the league. This will be quite interesting how Wolfsburg will rebuild in the coming season(s). Not only due to the lacking of european football, but also in relation to the emissions scandal.

Don't really understand why they put their new youth facility/academy on hold. That would have been money well spend.

Why the f4ck are Wolfsburg selling Luis Gustavo to China??? Complete waste, he is a very good player... are they really so unambitious? First they sold KDB and replaced him with Draxler, then they added Bendtner, now they are selling Gustavo? What next RR? At least Schalke and Leverkusen show ambition, specially Schalke with the appointments of Weinzierl and Heidel.

Maybe they are rebuilding team. Or their VW sponsor has problems

VW is doing quite a lot of investments nonetheless. They are not short on dough. What is the problem is Wolfsburg failed to get to Europe. Self sustainability can be a bitch.

Do they have a replacement for Naldo? Their defense is a bit old, especially since its a possibility of Rodriguiez is moving.
Maybe Tah could help them...I really hope that Tah stay in the BuLi, even better at bayen!

Seems like Max Kruse is also on his way out.

http://www.transfermarkt.de/kruse-abgan ... ews/239143[source=][source=][/source][/source]

Either there's just too much plastic in Vfl Wolfsburg for football players, or it's just not run good enough(cough...Hecking). That being said, it was surprising that they couldn't finish within the euopean places.

They should either try to build some community fealing at the club or just not make these stupid get-out clauses for every player, when they have one poor season.

On the other hand. It could seem as if the club is trying to build a new team with younger players and with a change in strategy?...perhaps like RB Leipzig?
Then again, the change might just be a result of finishing 8th.

Dont really see what Wolfsburgs gets from this...? I guess Kruse and Dost are on their way out, but next year they then need to get a new striker, when they probably will play in Europe again, who arent used to the team...
