Plans for Schalke Fans cemetery

Postby Bayernbazi » Thu Nov 15, 2012 10:42 am

Don't know if this is the right place for this, but I thought of sharing this quirky article that puts the Bundesliga in the news......if it was 1st April I would have thought that this was a joke but Schalke are planning to build a cemetery in the shape of a stadium with blue and white flowers, a miniature pitch in the centre and a view of the veltins arena.

It's uh... unique? I mean it seems kind of cool, but is putting a team themed cemetery next to the stadium really a great idea? Seems like it could totally kill the mood (pun completely unintended  ) before the game. Still since were on the topic of this, I've always said I wanted to be buried around a Football pitch, so if Bayern ever gets one...

And fans had been snapping it... If I was born in Munich and Bayern ever creates one... well that's a thought.

Bundesliga fans are considered one of the most passionate fans after all :)

And well there's also this... http://inbedwithmaradona.com/subculture/2012/11/16/christmas-with-werder.html

Is there a discussion topic for Bundesliga fans culture in this forum? :D

There is a far off view of the stadium so I don't think it's that close,

During the Christmas period Bayern issue a number of christmas related items for sale. But I've never seen a christmas themed bayern kit...with a a bit of white fur around the the neck of the red shirt I bet Ribery would almost look like father christmas

Ibrahim Afellay has been injured since the last Schalke win in BL in November and now he is expected to be out for some time with another injury. He will mostly miss the two games against Galatasaray in CL :|

Schalke could be signing Bastos from Lyon which seems like a great move for them

Bastos is a great player! With him and Draxler Schalke should be able to get into top 4
