I'd like such a dedicated and appreciated coach to come to BuLi. He's stated that he might one day want to coach in Germany and even Schalke are behind him. He'll be in CL and we rob EPL of it's gem.

I completely agree with you. This isn't as a BuLi fan, but rather as an unbiased judge. He is a fantastic manager with long term vision. On top of that, he's tactically strong and is a great motivator. Schalke would certainly do well under him. He'll get European Football and a decent squad to work with, much like Everton. But I think the deal breaker for him would be whether or not he gets a decent budget, I think he's tired of working for financially weak teams and would rather wait for a big boy (probably Man U) to come a-knocking than do the same again.

Moyes would be good for schalke. problem is that he would want money to spend which is very unlikely with schalke financial problems.

It's very likely,yes!
I don't know if Effe can make it or his coaching skills but Schalke has a pretty decent roster and quality in their team and I'd like to see them with a good coach and not a possible Jurgen Klinsmann no.2
Effenberg before a month was linked with a move to Bayern Munich II team and now for a BuLi team which chases the title and plays for CL,it's kind of weird and it seems a failure but who knows maybe Effe is a decent coach, let's see.

Well, I think that would be a very bold move. He's still untested and going directly for a top dog in the BL. Interesting to follow.

I don't understand what all the fuss is about. Is not like they are going to hire trucks to go around the city announcing he's staying...

Oh, wait..

Yeah, I read about it. They got some style.
I believe those trucks might have circled around the Signal Iduna Park at least once.

No one told me BvB were having a yard sale :P

I wonder if the day will come when a BuLi club other than Bayern knows not to have a €1m release clause on a player. Well if its true i will be a good signing for Schalke and a very cheap one. Im sure the Ruhr derby is gonna be an exciting one next year :D

Yeah, that was stupid.

Fast Reus, goalscoring Lewandowski! Come and buy them! Cheap prices!

A discount for an injured Hummels!

Strange for that to come out of you out of all people but I can see your frustration right now.
Still, I found that post pretty funny.

I wouldn't take Hummels even if he came for free. :|
He's talented and he should remain away from us now after he badmouthed us.
I'll never be able to accept him.

Schalke eliminating Inter in 2011. Interesting to see the players who were playing. Baumjohann, currently in K'lautern, Jurado in Moscow, Edu in somewhere China. God, what happened to these guys?
Kraft
Lahm, Hummels, Badstuber, Contento
Schweinsteiger, Kroos, Can
Schöpf, Müller, Alaba

This was Edu's only good game in his Schalke tenure, I guess :P
