Reason is that Leipzig as a non-Austrian Club had to pay only 2 million euros as a release clause , While if Red Bull Salzburg had signed him directly , they would have paid Much More than That

Now that is a very very very Cheap Way , but also this way Leipzig have Secured themselves a Top talent

Germans are crying now after they saw this deal.

Good push-up for the Bundesliga clubs below Bayern and Dortmund to become smart and hard-working.

I did undestand absolutely everything. :D

I'll repeat... Germans are crying now on websites after they saw this deal. They don't like it either is for Leipzig or Salzburg. They both stink to Germans if we take some comments on websites.

Dietrich Matešić raises dust.

I wouldn't say Salzburg "used" Leipzig, so much as both are owned and managed by Red Bull, so basically Red Bull is cheating and acting as dishonourable as usual with little regard to the sport's integrity. These clubs have no identity beyond being Red Bull advertisements (hell now they even have the same badge as one another) and this case shows it. This is Red Bull looking out for itself and using its teams to get ahead, they don't give a **** about football.

I really wish since RB Leipzig's feeble effort to "comply" with regulation and change their badge that the ruling would be reversed with this joke "effort." Sorry but anyone who thinks anything they do is a "good" thing doesn't care about the sport or any sense of integrity.

I have to write "thumbs up" for them. This is unfortunately their skill and white place in the rules.

Meh, I hope a club from Eastern Germany can actually grow and some investment is not universally bad. I hope they can provide good competition if (when) they get promoted into the first league.

Braafheid !

Ibisevic, Luiz Gustavo, Ba, Obasi, Compper, Simunic, Carlos Eduardo, Beck, Salihovic, Firmino, Rudy, Volland... so many good players and a very good coach like Ralf Rangnick. I can't believe they haven't reached EL spots yet.

They have loaned him. He'll play this season for Leipzig. Good for him, at least he'll play as a regular team member.

I am curious about what Leipzig can do in the 2e Bundesliga. The have a lot of pressure ofcourse, i could see them get to the Bundesliga, if they continue their strong play like last season and pre-season.
