Hertha is a really easy place to get Bayern tickets, but that would change if they got a smaller stadium.

If Hertha get their own stadium, surely that means that the DFB Pokal final will be played in a neutral stadium, right?

The club from the German capital are tied into an agreement to rent the 74,000-capacity Olympiastadion until 2025. After that lease ends, the club hopes to offer a "more intense football experience."Hertha Berlin on Thursday confirmed plans to move from the Olympiastadion to a purpose-built "privately-funded" stadium in 2025.
After studying more than 50 different locations in the German capital, the club has taken a giant step towards solving a long-standing issue with plans to construct a 55,000-capacity stadium adjacent to the currrent arena.
"For the Bundesliga matchday, which accounts for 95 per cent of our match operations, the Olympiastadion is no longer suitable and future-oriented," says Hertha's president Werner Gegenbauer.
With an average attendance of 50,000 this season, the Berliners feel out of place with more than a third of the Olympiastadion empty. The stadium is filled to just 64 per cent of capacity, compared with the league average of 92 per cent."Hertha has been forced to build a new stadium for economic reasons, with a percentage of seats used, better profitability and more attractive marketing possibilities: this is the only way to remain economical and ultimately competitive," said Ingo Schiller, the club's managing director, in an official statement.
"Hertha BSC will offer a much more intense stadium experience from 2025 onwards, just like all the other Bundesliga clubs, and perhaps even more emotionally. The fans are close to the pitch and it is steep and loud," explained sporting director Michael Preetz.
An alternative location has been chosen near the Brandenburg Park in the district of Ludwigsfelde, located nine kilometers south of the city boundaries and around 18 minutes by train from Potsdamer Platz. But this decision could prove unpopular with Hertha fans who are based in the capital.

Manifesting their support for them. I'll hazard a guess that they have a black American in their ranks and wanted to support him.

But what is wrong with the black Americans? I can't understand all this victimisation...
Is it because of a certain obama ?
Were these Americans living in a paradise during his Presidency?

The only American they have is Klinsmann. Sigh, it's a little cringeworthy to see Hertha try to be hip like this but what can ya do. I almost prefer when Germans were five years behind on the dab.

And there's nothing wrong with the black Americans. At least nothing more than anyone else in the world. Or maybe there is but the ones I know are patriots and great Americans (granted the ones I know stand for the anthem ). Kaep probably could have got his message across better if he had protested the way the Cowboys and Saints do it where they kneel before and stand up for the anthem (and if he hadn't become a bad, benched quarterback when he started this) but he's also not a professional PR/propagandist. Feels like he had good intent, shit execution. And now of course the leftists fall for Trumps culture war bullshit again. The man is simultaneously a moron and a genius.

How can you ask these questions AFTER calling them morons moments earlier?
Tell you what: try to be less dogmatic and more open, okay? Cause then it‘d sound more like an informed decision instead of right wing complaining agenda...

They’re protesting police violence - which is in no way unpatriotic in my book - it’s actually VERY patriotic... They’re not defying neither the flag nor the anthem
And I think it’s quite American, to make a fuss about it... All men are created equal... But some are more equal than others... And Puerto Ricans and Virgin Islanders are also less equal somehow...

And that’s neither on Obama nor Trump... It’s a social nuisance just like the growing gap between rich and poor, or the effects of certain privileges people have nothing to do with on education, job, everyday life...
And people bringing this to attention are not morons...
