Going to be an exciting game day today considering all the possibilities of those teams that can be relegated
Statistics are like miniskirts . What they reveal is tantalizing, but what they hide is crucial.

with these shedules they are going to put more stress on me...
f*** modern football and all the f***** money...
Football was the sport of the people the common ones...
A sport that is practised all over the globe... give a ball to a child and he/she will immediatly throw or kick it... in yesteryear children used to play football in the streets...
Now you have to pay & book to play football (5 a sides)
Pay to watch football on TV
Pay internet to watch it online
etc etc etc

it is becoming a sport for the elite.

What do people around here think about Kalle's comments, the English threat and the way forward for the Bundesliga?

I think all Bundesliga fans are going to pay somehow, whether they like it or not. Either the TV deal is negotiated in a more profitable way, or the shortfall will be made with transfers of talent out. But lose the fan culture and there wouldn't be much point to watching Bundesliga over Premier League tbh.

Maybe, but a Bundesliga without it's talents wouldn't be worth watching either. They should accept a middle ground: say preserving the sanctity of the stadia (ticket prices, fan culture, etc) but accepting more midweek games and such. If the DfB doesn't do something, the Bundesliga will be robbed of it's players fast, in the long term even Bayern will suffer.

Hopefully just attracting fans to the league through more accessible TV rights or foreign tours helps make a difference. I feel that even if the Bundesliga gets money out of this American fox deal, fox is making a mistake not capitalizing on the gathering interest in football in the U.S. Now is probably when new fans start to decide which brand of football to develop a loyalty to.

There's a solution - Russians! 8)

Abolish 50+1 rule and let the Russian billionaires to overtake some of the Bundesliga clubs.

Either accept potentional threat of losing players or leave German, Russian, Asian and other tycoons to buy few clubs like Werder, HSV, Stuttgart, Eintracht...

Oh no... That's the worst possible outcome of them all... At the very least make it so that the team's can only be bought by German corporations.

Dear Bundesliga Fans,

your help is required! I am Johannes, a student of the University of Bayreuth (Germany). Of course, I am a big soccer fan and I follow and watch soccer as much as I can.

I am currently writing my Master thesis in cooperation with the Bundesliga about the international development of the Bundesliga, especially in the USA. Therefor we created a survey, which includes several questions about the current situation of the Bundesliga in the US (attractiveness, TV-presence, match-schedule, online and social media-availability, etc.). Through your replies, we have the chance to improve the prouct quality and bring the Bundesliga and the Bundesliga-Clubs closer to all of you.

By participating in the survey, which is of course 100% anonymous, if you want, you are able to win really cool prizes, like player issue jerseys of Arjen Robben (FC Bayern München) ,Kevin-Price Boateng (autographed - FC Schalke 04), and Max Kruse (formerly Borussia Mönchengladbach) and a official adidas Bundesliga-Matchball. Please find the survey and all the deatails under the following link:

https://ubayreuthmarketing.qualtrics.co ... dYXhmCoJBb

We would be grateful if you could spare 10-15 minutes to fill out our survey.

Thank you all in advance and kind regards,
Johannes
