Not unprecedented either.
Players aren't supposed to make physical contact with the ref, no matter whether the ref is male or female. If they do, they have to face the consequences. But charges with sexual misconduct won't occur for accidental contact or contact that has nothing to do with sexual misconduct. This is Germany we're talking about, not the US.

Players pat refs on the back, hold their shoulders and hands and on occasion even place their hands on the refs head and face(cheeks to be precise) all the time. Just a thought. What's gonna happen if that happens with a female ref?

Oh, that was Demirbay? I remembered the incident, but not the player. He turned up all dressed-up with a fancy scarf to the girls match, want an AH!

@America USA, I just showed you an example what happens. Nothing happened in this case, despite him even touching her breast.

Players (and coaches!) aren't supposed to make physical contact with the refs. Period. If the presence of female refs makes them more alert of that rule, all for the better.

The point I was trying to make is, in Germany there won't be any charges with sexual misconduct unless sexual misconduct undoubtedly occurred. I can only judge from reports but my impression from those reports is that in the US there's some sort of hysteria over sexual misconduct that doesn't exist (to that extent) in Germany. Like in Germany your chances are slim if you try to sue a household appliances producer because your cat died after you've "dried" her in a microwave.

I know refs should not be "touched." But boy I would've loved to see Kassai get punched in his ugly face on April 18, 2017. Also since I support Arsenal in the Premier League there are few more whom I'd love to see get their asses handed to them Mike Dean and Clattenburg come to mind.

I remember this incident... so it was him.
But while we are at it why don't we have mixed teams as well?
I can still remembet Perugia's President requesting a permission to sign a girl for his tm

Well, that's kinda different, I mean... Women in average are not able to physically match men. But, hey, I'm all for letting the clubs do so if they deem it a good idea...

Unterhaching playing against Elversberg at the moment to decide who will play towards 3.Liga next season. Unterhaching pretty much ran riot on the Regionalliga Bayern this season, finishing 20 points above 2nd place 1860 Munich-2. Would like to see these lads move up the leagues again... much prefer them as a second choice local team over 1860...

oops, and they just scored - 1-0!

edit: 2-0 now in 64.Minute. They're too good for the Regionalliga 8)

Where is Tuchel supposed to go?
I hope he stays in the BuLi... I hate to see German football losing yet another coach with ideas....
