The can returns to Mönchengladbach

These days the can of coke can be admired in Borussia Mönchengladbach’s museum. Referee Dropsmans had given the can to his favourite club Vitesse Arnhem. However, the club decided to send the can to Germany after a request had been sent from Borussia asking to get this vital piece of Foals history back to Mönchengladbach.

Borussia Monchengladbach reject PSG offer for Dahoud [source]

Today’s edition of the Guardian reports that Borussia Monchengladbach have rejected an offer of € 37 million by PSG for 20-year-old attacking midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud.

If he has a 10M release clause from next summer, that's dumb.

Christian Atsu could be headed off to Borussia Monchengladbach [source]

According to reports, sporting director Max Eberl is eager to have the Ghana international at the club in the German topflight.

He is regarded surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge and will have to be farmed out for more game time.

Good on them. Hope Dahoud stays in Germany.

They have Firmino and Coutinho ...
Where will he fit?
I like the fact that they called BMG German giants:smile:

Well Dahoud is a central midfield player, and a super one at that. Better than Gündoğan if he follows a good career path.

I thought that he plays in a more advanced position (Behind the strikers) :?

He's more of a complete box-to-box midfielder, but his mindset is slightly better on the offensive side. I'm a huge fan of this guy, can even surpass Modric under the right circumstances in my opinion.

BVB should have tried to get him as Gündogan's replacement instead of Rode.

It looks like they want to keep Dahoud after they let Xhaka go... allegedly they rejected offers from PSG and L'pool. But it's ridiculous if he has a 10M release clause from next summer, maybe they'll renew his contract, they have to.

SPORT1: Gladbach want to intensify their efforts to sign Andreas Christensen again. Max Eberl: "We really want to sign Andreas permanently."

BILD: Martin Ödegaard (17) could join Gladbach in the winter. The Norwegian is on Max Eberl's list for three years.
