But didn't Dortmund already said he was 'too expensive'? Hell, even Bayern didn't want to 'afford his agent's fees.'

You just know City is going to splurge on another striker in the summer.

... and why would Dzeko end up in Dortmund... he plays the same style as Pizza, but a lot better...

He'll end up in Juventus, along with the other 238 strikers they're linked with ;)

Sooo many missplaced passes by Gotze today. He got the assist though.

Sahin should appear in the second game on 5pm.

Is Sahin already playing vs Mainz today? EDIT: He is. 1-1's the score line.

So. We started the game playing Gundogan - Sahin. It looked TERRIBLE. Gundogan was the one doing the playmaking and Sahin was just running around frustrated. After 20 minutes Klopp took Gundo off the field to give some chance to Nuri. When he was the main deep-lying playmaker, he did very well. Was very confident, did very little mistakes. He had good understanding with the team.

My ratings:
Gundo + Bender = Sahin + Bender

We can easily switch those two player without any quality loss. Of course Im basing my opinion on very little I was able to see. We will need to see how it will look in the coming weeks.

Yeah, I thought he was brought in to take the Gündogan role back (which used to be the Sahin role, really).

Not surprised about that. They're not meant to play as a midfield duo together, just like Schweinsteiger and Kroos here. Either one of them will have to benched or else they are going to need a third midfielder playing with them.

True that. We discussed the possibility of playing Gundo - Sahin midfield on our polish forum, I was against it from the start. Bender needs to play and one deep-lying playmaker is more than enough. But now we can apply true rotation. Gundogan is not unfimilar with playing as a "10" so when Gotze will need some rest Gundo can play there. Sahin gives us more options all over the pitch.

I thought Gundogan was more like Gustavo, from the matches in which I saw him. And when Gotze is resting, BVB play Kreutz-Reus-Kuba
Emre CAN do it.
