Sooooo maybe because Badstuber, Boateng and Dante are nowhere near Hummels's level when everyone of them is in form? :D

According to rumours on transfermarkt (Borussia Dortmund forum) we will sell Perisic to Wolfsburg tomorrow for 7 million and give Bittencourt more chances in the first team. I can live with that, Bittencourt has a huge potential, give him time and he will explode into great player. :)

Perisic was playing such a shitty football this season that Im glad he's leaving, he just doesnt belong here. Wish him well.

Oh no... you need Perisic... you shouldn't weaken your depth on the bench
That would be a bad piece of business IMO...

Wolfsburg should try and bring talent from outside Germany...

our what?

Watzke said very clearly that we need to strenghen our places from 12 to 18. I really hope he meant that, selling Perisic is actually a good start, he is useless here.

Perisic is very good technically... and I think he was one of your bench players with more playing times in the Hinrunde, am I wrong??

So yes... he is part of your depth on the bench! and Unless he is tactically stupid or totally incapable of understanding what Klopp really wants of him, I don't see any sense in selling him!

Bingo! That is exactly what is Perisic's problem. He is uncapable of understanding what Klopp wants him to do.

And what kind of depth he is if he comes in and does nothing and I really mean nothing positive on the field? He never helped us get back into a game this season, make a key pass, put in a great shot to give us a corner or something, really, he was useless. He doesnt belong here, not because he is to weak but because he doesnt suit in Dortmund's style of play. Klopp sees that and we, Dortmund fans see it too. Schieber will be next one to go if he keeps playing like this in the second half of the season.

If Perisic leaves officialy then its time for Watzke to bring someone more valuable, like Herrmann or Arnautovic who were already discussed here. We have 3 competition to play in, we need someone with real spark.

Selling Perisic is a pretty good deal if you ask me. Last year he was chipping in a couple of goals after coming in, and that was great for BVB. But this year, he's been more of a crying baby who's completely inefficient went coming in as a sub. The 7 million raised (if the deal is confirmed, of course) might be used to lure in someone like Hermann as suggested by our resident BVB fan, who's better suited for their style of play (plus, he's used to having Reus around), and wouldn't mind to be used as a rotation player.

@ Borusse: Arnautovic is one hell of a player when he's in form, but his clear problem is inconsistency. Regardless, he's not the type of player who'd settle for the bench, and I'd expect him to cause way more trouble than Perisic if BVB were to get him .

I have hardly seen Perisic play this season, so I'm surprised that he's been bad.

7 million sounds like a good deal though, and he may get back on track in Wolfsburg.

Klopp would deal with that and Arnautovic wouldnt have to settle for the bench:
1. He could play as a striker
2. He could be one of the players in rotation. One game we play Kuba, Gotze, Reus and in another one we play Arnautovic, Gotze, Reus. Then in another one we play Kuba, Gotze, Arnautovic and so on and so on. :) Everybody would stay fit and should be happy.

But he is a second choice of mine in realistic transfers within Bundesliga. Herrmann first! :)

So VW paid the same for Perisic as they did for Rodriguez? LOL. I think Dortmund could have got a better deal, not even counting it is a January transfer for crying out loud.

With the crap Perisic has been playing this season trust me - we couldnt have gotten a better deal. We are happy with 7 million euros but we must find a replacement, otherwise we are screwed. :P
