If he joins City I'll eat my hat.

Can you show us a photo of your hat now please, and another one of it half-eaten should it happen? Otherwise I don't know if I should believe you...

LOL. I just don't get how everyone outside Germany seems to be convinced he'll join City. To me that sounds just short of the Pope deciding to manage a sex club next year. It just doesn't fit for all kinds of reasons. How can Dortmund be so popular a club abroad, and still people don't seem to have an idea what kind of a person Klopp is? If he really joins City, he's to be credited with having put on an Oscar worthy long-term acting achievement over the past 7 years.

Because the best managers go to PL! PL should be the prime place for anything...

Not! :pep:

Same thing happened w/ Pep. They were convinced he was going to a PL club. And still convinced he will go apparently. City is waiting for him.

Honigstein wrote:That leaves Manchester City as the most probable destination but that's not a straightforward proposition, either. The soon-to-be-dethroned Premier League champions are in the midst of their own big change, both in the dressing room and the boardroom. City will need to make up their mind how far the purge will go before they can approach candidates for Manuel Pellegrini's successor in earnest.

Think Liverpool is more likely. They're more his sort of club and Rodgers may not survive if they finish outside the top 4, even if they win the FA cup

It is his best opportunity for leave this shit, leaving the team in this condition sell shame to everyone, so he leave like a hero because fans will remember his achievement, instead of leaving here with a good season perform, that fans would see him as a traitor.

Arsenal or City are waiting for you Klopp.

Bild claims Tuchel will sign a 4-year contract and wants to snatch Khedira in front of Schalke's nose.

Nothing weird. The City managment is coming from Barcelona. His friend is a managing director or director of football if I'm not mistaken what he used to be at Camp Nou. That's why everyone expected Guardiola's move to City.

Dortmund are now 1 point away from an Europa League spot, providing Arminia Bielefeld don't win the DFB Pokal.

Given Bayern's injury crisis, it's not inconceivable for Dortmund to make it to the DFB Pokal final. However, with UEFA's new rules in effect from this season, it won't be enough for Dortmund to qualify for the Europa League through the domestic cup: they'd need to win it.
