during the Pokal match a dresden defender said that during the match he insulted Ciro the whole match, however he continued that instead of getting nervous Ciro showed him how much he earns in millions and he could not answer back - he was silenced... :) plus the 2 goals of course. He said that he has earned his respect...boqq  [source]

I think it’s a highest time for BVB to start playing. They have to play in EL next season to get some points for their UEFA coefficient. If they won’t qualify their coeff will plunge but if they do play in EL with some good results they have chance to be in pot1 for EL draw in 16/17, if they qualify for EL of course.

And they did not. So lets forget BVB for season or 2, or maybe more,

We don't need BvB strong to maintain BL.
We 1 or 2 random team every year.
Actually I'd like the bumblebees winning against those Italians

This is what happens when you sign bad players. Sick to death of watching half our lads unable to control the ball, interchange passes intelligently, or open up sides with some guile.

Who do you guys feel BVB should attempt to sign this summer? We could do with another ball playing CM in case Sahin or Gundogan are injured as playing with two such midfielders will be the way to go against most BL sides in future.

I've seen Geis touted quite a bit but I've not seen enough of him.

Looking back to years of glory for BVB squad, you’ll see that only 2 players are missing (Lewa and Goetze) and I don’t believe the rest forgot how to play football. In that case maybe there are few problems with the team, possibly natural decline (injuries, exhaustion) but they are still too young for such eventuality, so there must be something else which must be resolved first before signing new players. BVB has management in place which is supposed to control situation and know the reasons.
Obviously they don’t see anything or are unable to do whatever is needed. In this case management should be replaced. Buying players for millions has not helped until now so buying one player or even 2 more won’t solve the problem either.

I'm sure of two things:
1) Dortmund will qualify for the EL.
2) They will be back next season and hopefully they'll bring the EL to Germany (or keep it there, if Wolfsburg do their job).

In the meantime, here's hoping they'll beat Juve.

Subotic has to do a better job with Tevez or they are not going through.

I told once, Borussia aren't in game for CL match and these 2 matches exactly proved that. Currently, 0/3 wins before Gladbach and Bayern matches.

Borussia can chase only 5-6th place, but after these 2 games, 6th spot is the most important for them. You can't rely on Pokal because you never know if your last match will be semi or quarter-final.

even when they were last I had a feeling they would start winning and get that 4th spot. CL will miss them. And BL clubs will be less competitive in CL next year.

As I'm a fan of Bundesliga, I'd give them the Champions League. Just that it wouldn't be us that they'd beat in finals.

Agreed. If its not us winning the CL let it be bvb or leverkusen. I know how stupid and unrealistic that sounds but its what Id like to see most.

But none of that matters because we will win it!

Borussia Dortmund

Dortmund now is not good at all in defense or in attack
It's a pity because usually you have weak positions and some strong positions you can rely on to make the difference but now they are very vulnerable at the back and very static and predictable upfront
Only individual effort with the help of the atmosphere can push them through
