And so it begins... Kirch out for 8 weeks, Ji out for 4 weeks.

Sahin and Schmelzer are still injured and will be back in training in 2 weeks. Kuba still not ready and will need another week or two. Gundogan might be back at the end of September.

We will probably start the season with a diamond, I predict our line-up against Leverkusen will look like this:

Sounds like you're training players too hard. It's not unlucky anymore if it keeps repeating... you must be doing something wrong.

I'll agree with that. It seems like this might just be more than bad luck at this point. On the other hand, Dortmund's improved depth is showing. They have plenty of injured players yet their first 11 will still be class.

It is most probably more than bad luck. But at least this time we have more options and different systems we can choose from.

So, what's up with this story about BVB selling more shares? I read they could raise > 100m€.

Haven't seen any article on it but technically, they have 61.55M outstanding shares and 43.69M already in the public hands (public float). If they release the remaining 17.86M (restricted shares, issued shares but not sold yet to the public) out to the public market and with average 5 euros stock price, it's worth 90M. A large firm can buy that block of shares easily for 100M.

We're trying to catch up to the elite. Watzke said the goal is to raise the wages budget from 70 million to 120 million in the next 3 years.

He is injured and will definitely miss the game against Leverkusen and Augsburg. He should be back in 2 weeks time.

Gundogan will take part in some portions of the team training next week and he is schedluded to return to full team training in the middle of September. We might see him back on the pitch before October if everything goes well.

Kuba will be back in team training next week and might be an option for Augsburg.

Hummels is healthy but didn't train much and probably won't feature against Leverkusen.

Sahin will need another week or two to get fit again.

Ramos is out of Saturday's game, a minor injury.

So yes apparently BVB did announce a few major developments to its financial side. There was a renewal with Signal Iduna for the stadium naming rights, and further shares sold.

But this is only Twitter news, I have yet to read a full statement in english about what exactly they did.
