I think they should be favourites against Ajax.

^ Definitely, especially since Ajax will do anything except parking the bus! And given Ajax's somehow average defense, that could suit BVB's counter-attacking gameplan perfectly.

I would say a draw and another Dortmund European failure ...

Well... he's from Netherlands, and he is not necessarily a BVB fan!

Well... I don't hate them... on the contrary, I really like them... and I want them to become an European powerhouse soon... It's good (even a much needed necessity) for German football....

you see... It sucks if they have another huge failure in Europe... I will feel really embarrassed given the fact that they've managed to defeat us 5 times in a row, and they've broken BL records to win back to back titles.... It doesn't really bode well for BL and even for us, if they suck once again... furthermore, it might make our domestic campaign much harder...

To be honest, the way things are at the moment I don't believe Dortmund (or anyone else) will be able to stop us domestically this year. Them going far in the Champions League or not won't make a difference.

You do have a point, tough. Dortmund beating us twice made us angry, so we spent some money and now we have the arguably best Bayern squad of all time. The bigger competition was good for us. Dortmund doing well in Europe will be good for them financially so they can maybe maintain some kind of competition with us in the coming years, like not losing Reus and Götze for example the way they lost Kagawa.

HAhah. Im really looking forward to this game.
I come from The Hague, so naturally I have a soft spot for ADO Den Haag. We cannot stand Ajax.
On top of that, I live+study in Rotterdam now and have always been a Feyenoord fan, Archrivals of Ajax...

So trust me, no one wants BVB to more than me ;).

I anyways wanted BVB to do well in Europe regardless of who they play, but this game...

I will probably be going to the return Ajax-Dortmund with a good friend of mine who is Ajax fan :).

About the game:
Dortmund is much stronger than Ajax, but Ajax can really surpise. If they put up a game like they did last year at Old trafford then Dortmund will have a problem. But generally Dortmund should win this, especcially at home. And these 3 points are a must if they want to proceed from this group...

Dortmund has to really be careful about Babel though. He's had a good game in the weekend, assist and goal I believe, and is ofc very motivated to play against a German team to prove Hoffenheim wrong.
He's very pacy and that is exactly what Hummels and Subotic lack.

That's not something Hummels and Subotic lack!! On the contrary!!

Anyway, since we had a (funny) brawl last year when Schalke faced Twente (I said Schalke are capable of beating any Eredivisie side and you opposed me)... I though maybe you're be up for another round this year...

However what I see is that you've already backed down...

Tonight's result and performance should give us an indication of what to expect from Dortmund. Hopefully City and Real draw.

Hahahhahah
well, one thing is for sure and that is that Twente put up far more of a fight than you expected.

AT some point Twente were even winning in GElsenkirchen after having already won at home...
Its just Steve McLaren did his usual mistakes and made dumb substitutions after ;).

Dortmund 1-0 Ajax. What I want to see is BVB beat City. Although I hate BVB I hate City even more. And I dont think Man City have got the players to break Subotic and Hummels.
Emre CAN do it.
