I believe he'll be a super star at BVB & they'll not going to miss Lewa at all.
BVB already have a lot of sympathizers in Italy, and this transfer is going to add some more.

One thing's sure, BVB will have to become a better team without Lewandowski. If you take away the playmaking ability and physical imposing play of the Pole you lose an important weapon in matches where your team's Plan A is not working. How often have we seen the 40-50 meter long hooked ball from Hummels or Sokratis to Lewandowski who would control and defend possession until his teammates advance towards the opponent's goal? Countless times.

Ramos certainly has a similar skillset but doesn't possess the individual extraclass of Lewandowski. With Immobile you lose that part of the game completely (he's rarely wins an aerial duel at all) and your team has to work, especially central midfield where the Klopp has to form something out of the likes of Jojic, Sahin, Kirch and hopefully Gündogan. Mkhitaryan's position will be also decisive because he failed as a CAM but showed great promise on the wings with Marco Reus taking over the central role.

There's a lot of potential for Borussia Dortmund next season, their last 4-6 weeks of the season were pretty impressive after all, but there's also significant risk involved.

Economy newspaper "Bilanz" Reports that Deutsche Bank is interested in buying 10% of Borussia Dortmund. Both The Club and the Bank refused to comment [source]

It's nothing new that Watzke has been looking for a new investor.

However right now almost all of Borussia Dortmund's shares are available on the free market, they're out there on the stock exchange owned by thousands of small investors and fans.

Before selling another 10% to Deutsche Bank they'd have to increase their capital which would devalue the remaining shares. Afaik every owner of shares should have teh right to participate in buying some of the new shares, but I'm not entirely sure how that works in a KGaA.

In general buying BVB's shares is much less appealing for big companies than buying Bayern's shares because Dortmund is a KGaA while Bayern is an AG. The difference is that no shareholder of a KGaA has significant influence on the company / club while the shareholders of the FC Bayern München AG have the same rights as shareholders of big companies around the world.

Where would you prefer to buy in, where your money actually buys you influence or where it's noting more than a PR stunt?

Nobody wants worthless shares of a KGaA without voting rights after all.

It most probably isn't. That's really inappropriate for a professional player to look like this.

He hasn't been able to properly exercise in nine months, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

The pic on the right is from the winter break I think. I'm sure I've seen it a long time ago, but I thought it was just the wind or some kind of visual effect. :?

Even if he has been for 9 months without doing too much excercise, he looks reeeally fat for a professional player
