Borusse wrote:Kicker reports we are interested in Josip Drmic! Would be an amazing transfer. If Nurnberg get relegated Drmic's buy-out clause of 2,5 million euros will activate! This would be one of the best bargains ever, just look at this guy:

And he is 21, he can only get better. I hope we get him.

Both him and Ramos have scored just one less than Lewandowski, playing for weaker teams. I think they will replace him adequately and in terms of depth you will be better off.

The biggest concern is whether they can show up in the big CL games.

And also indirectly may indicate he'll remain at Dortmund next season. Perhaps, in its own weird way, it's good news for Dortmund.
In any case, bad news to Germany and Loew.

Hmm, so they sold him to Real Madrid for €10m, two seasons later loaned him back, and the following one get him for €7m.

Do you think this means a CB is leaving Dortmund in the summer? Otherwise Ginter might be 4th choice CB and 2nd choice DM.

I know this is repetitive but damn these Borussians choose the best raw talent. :P

And I do have another complaint, well not to you Borusse or anyone here. It's this picture BVB have painted that people here(in India) or on internet (Quora, check it out or news sites) talk as if they have great academy and those poor souls are over-reaching everytime. And time and again I get frowned upon when I tell them that many clubs in Buli have excellent academies and BVB surely ranks down amongst them. They develop bought talent not nourish it from a tender age.
Just had to put it there. :)

I know you can develop talent and I credit BVB for that but surely it's not yours in most of the cases. There's a difference. :)
I just wish people would check first and then comment. :)

Hummels and Sokratis are definitely staying, I think Subotic is staying too. Ginter will be prepared to take over Kehl when he retires one year from now.

I think we can agree that the Ruhr area is, along with Bavaria, the biggest talent producer in Germany. You are right though, Schalke seem to produce more top players. From Dortmund's current squad I can only think of Reus right now, although I don't know every player's history.

Gotze is the only top product. Sahin no 2. And Grosskreutz.
I am not sure we could call Reus their product because they let him go very early. I think he was 16. Plus he came in spotlight very late, around 22.
Durm joined when he was 20 or so. Hofmann joined when he was 19. Leitner joined when he was 19-20 and Bittencourt when he was above 18.

I am not sure who to consider their product. I think probably Reus, probably and maybe Bittencourt.

Kroos joined us when he was 16 and Weiser when 17. While Kroos can be said to be our youth product and Weiser, may be.
