You should see match Salzburg Bayern. He was practicaly everywhere. Also, this is rumored price.
Also I had to admit, he is slovenian so my judgement is biased. But anyway, consider youth, physical and tehnical aperance, he might be worth it. He might not be.

Yes, Kampl was one of Salzburg's best players: Mane and him owned Bayern. Kampl reminded me a bit of Reus. He did get excited and take a poor penalty however, which Neuer saved relatively easily.

Also, he would have no problems with the language and culture, having been born and raised in Germany, playing for Solingen, Bayer Leverkusen, SpVgg Greuther Fürth, VfL Osnabrück and VfR Aalen before joining Red Bull Salzburg.

Injokop wrote:Also I had to admit, he is slovenian so my judgement is biased.

For me, he is German. The only thing Slovenian in him is that his parents used to live there once upon a time, several years ago. He's never lived in Slovenia.

Both of my parents were born and raised in Paola, a town in Malta. I was born in Hamrun and before my 6th birthday moved to Balzan. When people ask me where I'm from, I generally say Balzan and rarely I'd say Hamrun. But I don't ever say Paola, because where my parents were born is not relevant to myself.

EDIT: He also plays for the Slovenian national team. In my opinion, this should not be allowed: one should only be allowed to play for a country if he's lived there for at very least 5 years.

Damn MUTU, you realy want sloveninan NT to suck? Because he is realy only hope for success after Handanović. And GK alone can't save everything, if rest of team is bad. Also, Kampl was not swaper. I think, but I doubt that i can find source, he refused invitation to U-15 for Germany. Because he was waiting for slovenian one. Refusing him right to repersent our country would be injustice.

Also sorry for offtopic

I agree with him, Kampl is one of the few things (people) we have that can make our national team not suck, now and in the future :)...

Lewis Holtby's agent says the Spurs midfielder is currently negotiating a deal to return to the Bundesliga: "We are in negotiations, right now I can't say more," Marcus Noack told Die Welt. He added that there will be "clarity" in the next couple of days. Holtby has been linked with a return to Schalke, but Borussia Dortmund also appear to have entered the race following Kuba Blasczcykowski's ACL injury at the weekend.

Looks like this could happen.

To be honest I don't really care much about Slovenia because they're too good for Malta and not a challenge to Germany anyway. My point is that I find it unfair that a country is represented by a player who didn't set a foot in the country, except on holiday and to play for the NT. It's not like Malta didn't do it either, but still I find it unfair :)

Holtby would be a great signing for them at that price, hope they pull it off.

I like Holtby and I'm really surprised he is flopping in the Premier League because I thought his style fits good in there. I rate him really high and I hope you guys can sign him

But I'm sure I've read bad things about him from you in the past

That's interesting that all those clubs owning him now and in the past treat him like a hot potato and everybody including Borussia fans think it would be good signing. Strange, maybe Bayern should also get involved in melee for him? For that price it's a steal!

Well, he will be kind of a traitor... But I dont care right now, we need a new player. Not buying anyone will be very, very risking and stupid.
