Look at our injury status now (Bender,Reus,Kuba all came off the field because of injuries today) and look at your injury status when I said it.

You said it after the match in which Lahm was injured. :-({|=

For that same match, our best central defender, our best central midfielder, our best winger and our best striker were still out.

Lahm, Schweinsteiger and Ribery should make it to the FIFPro XI, that's how big they are. O:)

Doesnt change the fact we are dealing with much bigger problems + we dont have the comfort of losing so many important players and still have such a strong eleven at our disposal.

Maybe you will finally learn that Dortmund's squad is not even close to being as strong as Bayern's squad. Only our best elevens are not that far apart but thats it. Thats why I find comparing Dortmund to Bayern funny because we live in two different worlds and as you saw - the moment we got some injuries we dropped out of the title race. Thats the reality for us. We would have to have almost all our players healthy for the whole season to keep up with Bayern. But it wasnt meant to be I guess, not much luck with injuries this season.

Well, it was naive from your management to think that your players can continue their exhausting style of play for yet another year without suffering major injuries. The transfer window should have been used to bring in more players to the squad. They didn't have to be of the same level of Mkhitaryan or Aubameyang, but there were a lot of decent options out there that would have made a good bench for you.

So, Sven Bender already playing with a broken nose, suffered a thigh strain.

Reus suffered "calf hardening" (translation?)

Kuba suffered a bruised hip

And Sahin had to play out the 90 minutes despite suffering some calf problems. [source]

Dortmund could surely do with Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt :) But then, seems like he may have had a hand in a particular transfer ;)

Yeeeah, they were naive not to predict that suddenly half of our squad will be injured... Come on Mo, get your head out of your ass.

Even if we would predict that, we still wouldnt be able to do much about it because we just dont have enough resources. The squad we have now is the biggest squad we've had for like a decade anyway.

If you ask me, I find the injuries of the back four completely normal, and should have been expected by your team. I mean, those poor bastards have played almost 90 minutes of every single game in a very demanding style of play for the last 2 (and even 3) seasons. Gundogan's injury was unfortunate, I admit, whereas the recent ones aren't that serious. Anyhow, I'd look out for Reus at the moment.

BVB was not able to get an all-star bench of course, but a fullback and an extra midfielder costing in the region of 10M wouldn't have been crazy now would it?

So you changed your signature. Noticed it just now.
Brilliant.

I think Auba and Hofmann would start.
Back four Pisczcek, Friedrich, Sokratis, Durm.
And early sub for Lewa.

:P

Then it should be Gross at RW and Hofmann in a deeper role, right?
