Well done to Dortmund, but you can't really say who the best was when the difference in points is so small. There are so many factors to consider, such as the fact that they got eliminated early in Europe, the quality of the opposing teams, injuries, fixtures (it's harder if you play all the hard teams after each other) etc.

But whether or not they're the best (I think they're not even the best Dortmund team ever, let alone the best Bundesliga team), it's a great achievement =D>

I read something about Kagawa not getting this permit because he didnt play enough national team matches and he is not reaching EPL standards... Anyone else heard anything similiar?

Yes , there are 2 Rules

1- a foreign Player must have played 75% of His Country's NT Matches in the past 2 Years

2-The Ranking Average of the Players National Team must be within the top 70 in the world (they take the average of the ranking of the past 2 years , if it is less than 70 then ok)

Rule 2 is ok as Japan is A Highly Ranked National team

BUT

Kagawa played only 12 out of 17 matches which equals 70.5%
and this week , Japan will play another 2 World cup qualifier matches with Kagawa making it 14 out of 19 which equals 73.7% which is only 1.3% short and taking his injury into consideration , he might get the permit

There are ways to overcome this rule if a player fails to get a Work Permit (Like United did with Chicharito)

The Club must Appeal against this decision
then
The Club must convince the Football Association that The Player is an ELITE Player , and also that there is no way to sign a european player at his Level for this Price

Hope i was informative Enough

Thanks element :)

So you just send an email to EPL board saying the kid is a wonderkid and show them some youtube videos and he gets a permit... Seems legit!

Yeah, I've heard about this. LIke Element said though, it shouldn't really be a problem for them to solve this though.

Still, I kinda wish they don't manage it. It would be so funny seeing Man United complain about it.
