Yeah, IIRC free agents can be registered into the Bundesliga at any time.

Not into the CL though.

Actually it seems he has been training with Dortmund for 2 weeks now. [source]

He could, but he probably won't because, guess what happened to him?!

Spoiler: show
Yes, he may be injured as well! [source]

Did you see the exhausting yet injury-less intensity in which they played for the last 2 years?

What we saw today was a team which, despite so many missing players, still managed to play a great game. Haters will say that the Bundesliga is just Bayern because of the scoreline, but anyone who saw the game knows why this tie is the most attractive in Europe at the moment. Today's game was no exception.

As Borusse said in the match thread, the biggest problem is finishing. Even with all the injuries, if they are not as wasteful as today then they have a good chance of beating Napoli. And it would be a big shame if they don't, because I do believe that they are still the second-best in Europe.

Anything other than a win would kill their chances of qualifying?

Assuming Arsenal beats Marseille, or at least draws, yes.

EDIT: There would be one lifeline if both next week's games in a draw. Dortmund would have to win against Marseille and pray that Napoli beat Arsenal.

We need a win and we need it badly. We will play for A LOT of money on Tuesday. If we drop down to Europa League I believe we could win the whole thing (we would probably be the main favourites for this title) but the money we would get for it would be nothing compared to CL money. So we are fighting maybe not for survival but for not stopping our developement.

Even with all those injuries we managed to play like equals with Bayern for about 70-75 minutes of the match. That at least makes me hopeful for the future - we dont lack quality in our game, we only lacked quality in finishing in recent games, thats something we can work on and something we can fix.

So if we win on Tuesday we will play for remaining in TOP3 in the league and in CL knock-out stages. It would make the season remain exciting.

If we lose we drop down to Europa League and I think we should play to win it. Of course we need to make sure we play CL football next season first but EL would give us much needed coefficient points and quite a big chance for a decent trophy.

Game on the season in 3 days, countdown starts.

For what it's worth, I have a very strong feeling that Marseille will defeat Arsenal.

I am so very excited for the game today. Good luck BVB! :D

(I just hope today will not be like Malaga's match last year. I ate all my finger nails)
