The 24-year-old also revealed that he rejected the advances of Paris Saint-Germain over the summer due to his desire to experience a different league after five seasons in France.

“There are stars in Paris and of course we talk about them in Dortmund. There was contact after me personally but as I already said it was too big a project for me and that's why I went with something else.

“They have a great project but I was more taken by the prospect of Germany, a change of scenery. I wanted to leave France.

"They [PSG] are a great team, it's a pleasure to see them play. I watch them from time to time. There are some big names offering some beautiful football.” [source]

Is he saying that PSG is bigger than Dortmund? Oh wow.

Or PSG is too big for him that he won't get much playing time there.

Two rumours from Spanish media.

1- Dortmund and Real Madrid came to an agreement for Gündogan for next summer. 30M

2- Ter Stegen could extend his contract with Gladbach and reject Barça. It's said that he could be Weidenfeller's replacement in 2-3 years

30 Million plus Sahin, a 7 million re-purchase valuation.

Gundogan would be stupid to go to Real. They have plenty of players in his position and Sahin already failed there.

Gundogan's father said yesterday that there is no deal with Real. He also said that the negotiations about the contract extension have been frozen because of the injury - this means two things:

1. Either its an excuse and he doesnt want to extend.
2. They dont want to be in a bad position during negotiations, the injury won't help Gundogan get better salary.

I hope its the latter but I dont know what to make of it really.

I hope Borusse doesn't get mad with me  But I think he will leave this summer. And it would be sad for Dortmund. I know Klopp is one of the best coaches in the business and I know that Dortmund can turn unknown players into great ones... but I think this is not the way to be succesful in Europe.

Yes, it's not Dortmund's fault, but it's sad for German football. This team has been one of the most succesful teams in the last 3-4 years playing beautiful football, winning titles and reaching the CL final but even in this situation the players are still looking for bigger challenges/wages

It still has to be confirmed but yes - probably true. He might miss the rest of the season.
