Who the hell is Bonmann? Halstenberg? I have heard of Gunter though. Our Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg can run octagons around these players.
Emre CAN do it.

So Santana wasn't that "stupid" after all, was he?

Yeah, I think he was. You clearly didnt understand what Santana was trying to say. He meant that Gotze would be able to play in the final if he wouldnt train AT ALL and just join the team on Saturday instead of Tuesday. That IS stupid.

The fact Gotze's injury was unnecessary is true thoguh, we risked his health for a 1-2% chance that he will be able to play against Bayern.

Well, he'd have made the bench if they followed Santana's advice.

But he would still be useless. It would be stupid from Klopp to let Gotze play for two reasons:

- he was 3 weeks without training.
- he could re-injure himself after first run and we would just waste a substitution..

So it was important to have him back in training way earlier.

Goal for Mkhitaryan as well. Assist and a goal in just 26 minutes playing time for your new club. Not bad, not bad.

Well, a semifinalist of Europa League and this was Basel's final test match before the new season if Im not mistaken. So definitely a quality opposition. :P

Miki had a quiet game but still managed to get an assist and a goal. Not many players would have passed the ball in that situation.

Aubameyang was really confident, he hit the post, also made some nice runs, very lively performance. He is in fact an intelligent player, knows what he's doing. Will be a good asset to the team.

Sokratis made some minor mistakes but was very active and determined, as always in his case.

This is going to be an interesting season for sure. :)
