I seriously doubt we are going to beat them... but if we manage a draw I'm confident we'll still be champions

Actually, I think we can, and with not that much of a difficulty. We just have to focus on the game itself and forget about Real and the Pokal final and the rest. And taking one game at a time seems to be one of JH's brightest spots.

Of course we can beat them, but a draw is not a terrible result. But if we lose then it is Game Over, so we shouldn't risk too much IMO.

We have to go for a win though. Looking at BVB's schedule, they still have to play against Schalke (A) and Gladbach (H). If we secure a win agaisnt them, then we would be level on points, and then any subsequent loss of points by Dortmund would put us in a commanding position for the BL. This will reduce the pressure and allow us to put some extra focus on the other two tournaments. For that, I wouldn't consider a draw a good result. It wouldn't help playing against Real knowing that we are still behind Dortmund, whereas it will definitely provide a morale boost if it was the other way around.

Even level on points we have an advantage because of the goal difference.

Well, with the next 3 games we play are BL games, we have to focus on BL and NOT CL!!! If we win our next 3, we should be OK. Really the only tough team until the end of the season for us IS Dortmund, and as mentioned they have several tough games ahead. Just look at the first half of this season, toward the end they started drawing in their games a few times. So it is possible we could gain points, but only if we win our games. It is truly in our hands. What scares me is that the team throws it away in favor of the CL. So it depends on if we make the final in the CL or not.

When one looks at Jupp's track record... he's got a knack for knockout tournaments, not league campaigns.

Our tactics against Dortmund depend on the results this weekend.
Actually there are 3 points that separate us. If they lose and we make it against Augsburg, we'll be first (goal difference), so pressure will be on them. If they beat wolves and we can't get 3 points at Allianz, then we'll have to use offensive tactics to beat them.
Last match in Allianz Dortmund played like a s*** team and sit back and counter attack. We should let them manage the match and counter attack with Robbery =P~

Yes no doubt that. What I am saying is that they will be facing some tough opposition after our game, so there is a chance of them losing points. If we can manage to win against them, then it is possible that a couple of weeks later we will be leading the BL by 3 points. That will surely give us an edge (like a slack 3 points) in the other competitions.

Guys anyone know what time kick off will be for us against Dortmund next week? Can't see a thread for it yet (though I may be just blind. I'm really tired at the moment.)
