He'd be a good fit for Dortmund, but they still need some "bigger" names.

Those Podolski rumors seem to be picking up some momentum as well, but I find it difficult to happen.

I know quite a lot of Dortmund fans who'd be fuming from anger if Podolski joined their ranks because there was some kind of beef between him and Nuri Sahin. Plus he's an overrated, one-dimensional football player.

The hottest most realistic rumors at the moment are in this order:

Pjanic
Podolski
Ji

Those are good players, Ji has a lot of potential and Pjanic is technically gifted but without the crown transfer like Kevin de Bruyne it'd feel like a weak transfer period.

Pjanic was a talent and he stayed like this for these past years,I know BVB and Klopp can motivate and grow talents but as far as I see Pjanic they can't "make" this guy probably is near to his peak,I don't know if AS Roma is the problem because they changed 2 coaches a year but it seems that Pjanic progress isn't good or expected.
Podolski it could be a good fit for BVB because of his pace and scoring but as Bazi said he is one dimensional player and overrated,I don't think Klopp will choose him,it's risky.

From the rumours I've heard the best options for BVB are Eriksen,DeBruyne as Gotze replacements but it seems none of them are going their way.
BVB I'm afraid they wouldn't be so "hot" at summer transfer window, unfortunately they seem very very cautious and their only signing is Sokrates which is a good player but not a "starting XI" material yet.
For example I don't know how Klopp lost the signing of Son against Neverkusen,it's really annoying for BVB,I don't know what their plans are but they only talking about KEEPING players and not BUYING,Klopp talked too much(as always) for this summer transfer window and that they'll splash...

A major problem was in my opinion that they waited too long for Kevin de Bruyne.

Other candidates like Son thought they were only a makeshift solution. Having to fight for minutes behind Reus, de Bruyne and Kuba is not very promising for such a young talented player like Son. Especially without a contractual exit clause which he got in Leverkusen.

Was he ever a hot topic? I get a feeling media will write anything just to have something to fill the pages.

We will know much more after this week. Many sources say different things but one thing remains the same - there should be transfers next week.

Its not, matches with dortmund are amazing, riveting and full of suspense (at least in last season) and a treat for a football fan. I enjoyed all the Bayern-BVB matches this season, and the 1-0 losses of last season were exciting as well.

And this trend:

2010/11: BVB beat us by 2-goal margin in both matches
2011/12:BVB beat us by 1-goal margin in both matches
2012/13: Both matches drawn
2013/14: :P
Emre CAN do it.

Koan Eriksen, koan Isco. Sobiech is signing with Hamburg. How many players do Dortmund have left - 13? 14? Can't be more than that. I wonder if Watzke and Zorc know that you need 11 players on the pitch to play football..

Just to calm you down further Borusse, I would like to inform you that Dortmund turned down the approach by Barcelona to take Deulofeu on loan. :P

Take it easy there Borusse, you only need to sign 15 players. Simple.
