He just has to activate Fellaini's release clause of 24m pounds. He is trying to save a few millions.
Doesn't he know that Leverkusen have learnt from Vidal fiasco and won't let go off any player on cheap!

Wenger, these days, is very keen on BuLi talents probably because of reasonable prices and the track record of letting talent go off for cheap.

He's the highest paid manager in the BPL and has been for quite a long time. Even SAF earned 3-4m less than him.
I'm not sure with Arsenal's and his plan to spend less. If not for Pep and Mou, he is the highest paid manager in Europe. For what? The 4th place trophy. :x

Such a shame... he would have been a rather cheap high-quality acquisition for the Bundesliga...

Bayer04 need to strengthen their squad if they want to have successful campaign on all fronts....

Well, this shows that Leverkusen are actually trying to sign another quality player. That's good

Hey Bayer, Why not selling Kießling too just like you did to Schürrle and all your other stars? then you cry about competing for the 3rd spot only...sign them on better contracts terms for a change.

Then they just get sold for bigger fees.

When they get offered big money for a player, they have to sell.

Talking from the perspective of a fan also. But you're right, not all clubs can resist big cash.

Ideally, that would be the case, that provincial teams like Leverkusen can keep their players and build long lasting success and competition. But they can't. They need to focus on youth development, then sell.

Not many clubs out there are not selling clubs. To be honest, most are.
