I thought it was a counter-attacking 4-3-2-1 but hell, transfermarkt vs the pundits is a lost battle.

Really, REALLY doesn't matter what you like to call it (that is, what anyone likes to call it). :|

Fine. But I don't know if I would call Kießling anything but a target man despite the pundits' opinions. :(

I know some guys like Bazi think he is overrated but I think Schürrle will be a bomb transfer for Chelsea. I expect a lot from him this season even though he will have to fight for his place against the likes of Mata, Hazard or Oscar (unless Mourinho plans him as #9 which I don't think so)

I know that Marko Marin failed to make it there but he is a very different player. Marin still has a 15 year old body and he won't be able to progress until he improves that. Schürrle is way different player and his Robbenesque style makes me love him so much 8)

Sounds like old pal Palop recommended one of his former teammates.

More choices for Leverkusen, that's good.

Lahm, Hummels, Badstuber, Contento

I can see Leverkusen over taking BvB as Bayern's closest German rivals next season, they are making moves and have already show they can cause Bayern problems. But im curious to see how they handle having to play 2 to 3 times a week....

Leverkusen can't overtake nobody unless the opposition makes mistakes. Keep in mind that their owner Bayer doesn't give them a lot of money unlike in the early 2000's. Their budget is like € 50-55m annual whereas Schalke has 50% more and Dortmund is expected to reach € 100m next season with all the contract extensions and possible new signings.

Leverkusen profits from the bad management at a lot of Bundesliga clubs while they are making smart moves.

If he keeps converting less than 9% of his shots into anything useful I am not sure he is really worth much, or anything really.

Yes. Schürrle is WASTEFUL! Whether he can step up his precision on that hellish right foot of his will decide his fate at Chelsea.

If we focus on the league Leverkusen won't be able to overtake us, Im sure of that, even if we dont make any signings. When we do make them, we will overtake Bayern. I have no idea how but we will. 8)

Spahic is a pretty average CB but I guess he can be an useful bench player with Wollscheid and Toprak playing most of the games

Huh! Poor Wenger. He just can't get a decent player from the market.
