I'm sure Leno to Madrid is made up. They already have 2 GKs.

Leno brushed off rumours linking him to HahaMadrid

"We always seem to lose our best players but that's simply the way it is. Big transfer fees allow us to sign new players." Voller told TZ.

Why so? It's the truth. Tell me, which club at the same level as Bayer Leverkusen is able to retain all its best players? Only the very top clubs are able to.

Well, I simply don't like this fatalism.
For me, a sports director should not show this kind of attitude in public, it's like acknowledging that Bayer Leverkusen are content with their current situation and don't need to develop.

The problem is that Leverkusen like all other German teams sells its players very cheap. The last example is Milik - a player who has scored 20+ goals this season for Ajax was sold for less than 3m. It is ridiculous. What about Dybala? Having scored what - 5 or ten goals and is a 30+m player already? The big star like all other latinos.

I have the impression that Leno is going out in the next transfer window. He has been performing very well lately.

Dortmund? In my opinion he'd be wise to take that risk.

Maybe hold on for 1 more season then go to Dortmund, I think Weidenfeller has shown this season that his best days are certainly behind him and has started to show his age. However I think Leno would struggle to usurp him next season for the starting spot simply because he is a BVB legend. 1 more season of Buli experience they im sure he would be a key player in BVB's revival once Weidenfeller is truly 'Past It'

So BILD is reporting that Spahic will be sacked by Leverkusen, the reason is the headbutt after our game.

He's quite a good CB. A bit hot headed it seems but if we want a new CB and if he won't face criminal charges, why not for free?

Roger Schmidt in Sportstudio right now. Seems a really likeable guy.

And why would Leno leave Leverkusen for Dortmund? Leverkusen will very likely play CL next year. Dortmund will be lucky if they play Europa League.
