It's offical: Salzburg's coach Roger Schmidt will be a new Leverkusen coach, contract signed till 2016. [source]
Very, very interesting coach, but not good club for him in my opinion.
Schmidt likes to play very strong, fast and attractive football. The article says that he is excellent motivator, as well.
He has counquered Austrian league like a piece of cake and become the earliest Austrian champion ever and if I'm not mistaken the earliest domestic champion in Europe in 2013/2014.
Surprised Bayern in friendly match this January during the winter break with strong performance, smashed Ajax in both EL matches like somekind of little club which came from CL.
Very interesting coach, yet I think he has deserved to lead far better and ambitious team than Leverkusen. Hope he'll have success in his coaching career, though. I want to see some younger candidates for German NT in future and for coaching Bayern after Guardiola.
