Yeah isn't that why he's going to Schalke?

Leverkusen has agreed terms apparently with a new player; loan-with-a-purchase-option Ryu Seungwoo from FC Jeju United. The 20 year old plays in South Korea's first division and the loan starts in January for 1 year according to K.

He came from HSV as a 'failed talent' which was given a 2nd chance at Leverkusen. The release clause was created from this old contract, probably with a ridiculously low wage for Sam. Same old story with Leverkusen, just like with Vidal who wanted to extend his contract prior to the 2010 WC. Suddenly he played an enormous tournament and they wanted to extend the contract immediately afterwards.

Well guess what, he no longer wanted to.

Leverkusen still have a buy-back clause for Yesil. Two ACL injuries in the same knee inside a year isn't looking good at all. I doubt if he'll ever reach his promise now.

Samed Yesil's season is over after the Liverpool FC striker ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament for the second time in a year.

The 19-year-old German youth international, who cost the Reds £1million from Bayer Leverkusen in August 2012, is awaiting surgery after suffering the devastating setback in training.

“Unfortunately Samed has suffered a reoccurrence of his knee injury,” confirmed Reds under-21s coach Alex Inglethorpe.

“It’s a horrible situation for him. He had only just recovered from the previous injury.

“We will give him all the support he needs. He’s a great character and I am sure he will come back strongly from this.”

Yesil only returned to action in October following eight months out after damaging his cruciate ligament on international duty with Germany.

He has made two first team appearances for the Reds – featuring in last season’s League Cup win over West Brom and the defeat to Swansea. [source]
