hmm they signed at the end of last season if I'm not mistaken

I also like the guy and I was really surprised when I saw him coaching Hoffenheim. I think he doesn't fit in that kind of team. Sankt Pauli (of course), Kaiserslautern... probably Koeln this year. That's the best for him

So Koeln was losing 2-0 but they somehow managed to score 3 goals in the final 5 minutes :-k

They are now in the middle of the table but far away in terms of quality from suprising Eintracht Braunschweig, Hertha Berlin or Kaiserslautern

BTW Sankt Pauli are in huge trouble. They are in 17th place with just 7 points in 9 games

It's really strange how once-Bundesliga clubs can reach such sinkholes.

Fortuna Düsseldorf especially.

They did:

91/92 - Tier 1
92/93 - Tier 2
93/94 - Tier 3
94/95 - Tier 2
95/96 - Tier 1

(I'm using tiers because names of the leagues and the league system have changed)

Then they stayed in the Bundesliga for two years before relegating again, and two years later thy went down to tier 3 again. In 2004 they even relgated to Tier 5!!!

Since then they have rebuilt and made a pretty impressive comeback.

Postby Element » Sun Dec 23, 2012 12:47 pm

Do you Football (outfit sponsor of St.pauli) and Deutsche Fernsehlotterie (main sponsor of St.Pauli) have made a competition for charity

people Design Kits for St.Pauli , St,pauli players will wear it vs Hertha Berlin , then after the game , those kits will go on auction and the money will go to charities

Tobias Braegelmann won it with 6722 votes

Here is the winning Jersey (LOOKS DAMN GOOD, they should keep it)

Wow that happened a lot of times. There is some people in the Internet that usually design great team jerseys. Much better than Adidas, Nike and so on. And I hate that they use the same template for almost evey team just changing the colours

It depends on what level of deal they have with the team. Very few Will sell enough to justify high sponsorship deals with bespoke strip design.

It is a smart strip, though it must have been the best of a bad bunch if the one that finished second is anything to go by!
