Their fans deserve it! Few years (should they stay up) and we'll see Podolski, I hope!

And he's the one of czech youngsters. Some say, he can be in future core of czech defense line in national team.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for him. I like every Czech and Slovak player in Bundesliga.

Patrick Helmes , 31-year old striker of Koeln has retired due to injury , He will be Co-Trainer of Koelns U-21 team

Helmes had the talent but serious injuries stood in his way many times

I remember him scoring in a friendly vs England... he rounded the GK and boom...

Helmes could've possibly been the true nine and the successor to Klose.

Then again Germany'd have another Gomez in the box and none of that sexy 7-1 style displays. BUT THEY'D HAVE A REAL STRIKER.

Leonardo Bittencourt has transferred to 1. FC Köln from Hannover 96 for an undisclosed amount. Looks like a 4-year contract.

OHHH, I support FC Koln as well. OMG, their season so far this year has really impressed me big time so far, beating two of the top clubs in Bundesliga with Gladbach first of all and now FC Schalke with a whooping three nil result. They've got quite a lot of talented players behind them and I hope to see them continue like this the rest of the year.
