First Schalke now Bayer; Online ticket re-seller Viagogo is losing contracts fast. Worst part is, according to Sport1, even the DFB is considering legal action.

This does raise a good point. Im looking to make a trip over this year after finding myself a new job and was looking to use Viagogo to purchase my ticket but im a little put off if i have to go through ebay.de to get a ticket to a match.

I wonder if they will strike a deal with another company like stubhub like a few teams in the English Premiership have done.

Great move by the clubs abandoning the partnership with Viagogo and a shame our management haven't taken action, notwithstanding the fact that club members have complained at every single AGM for the past 4 years.

However, at the end of Bayern's contract with Viagogo (end of this season), a new platform for reselling will be introduced. There will be no leeching company and tickets will automatically be sold on for the original price without fees. In addition, the platform will be available only to club members, which will prevent other fans buying tickets for Bayern's contingent.

Confirmed: Bayern to set up its own ticket reselling platform. [source]

Would this apply to members of official fan clubs (like BayernForum.com) even if they are not members of the official club?
